For Meloetta It could be two moves entirely like Psychic "Relic Song" and Fighting "Relic Dance" and the form in the overworld and Battle is whichever fills the first move Slot. Then a bump in power from 75 to 80~90 including a bump 10% to either 12~15% to Sleep, Paralyze or Confuse. would be great. Considering we have Pokemon like Iron head jirachi with 60% flinch or zen headbutt with 40%. Or Current menace Dire Claw Sneasler with a 50% chance to Poison/Sleep/Paralyze. And instead of an item to switch between about a Version "Stance Change" to Something like "Dance Break", which refers when a Singer transitions from singing to focus on Dancing. Let's say you're in base form to trigger "Dance Break" you'd use a Dance or Step to swap into Pirouette Form, and vise versa with Sound or Singing move. With a secondary effect like a weaker "Dancer" like 40~45% chance to copy another Pokemon Dance/Step or Singing/Sound. Or "Punk Rock" with a 10~20% boost to mentioned moves and a resistance up to 30~40% to those moves. Finally 1 or 2 Normal, Psychic and/or Fighting moves with secondary effects. It has a wide move set, but a huge lack of good stab moves to use "Serene Grace" with. Its typing isn't too defensive and it bulk is ok

Wish these mons were more viable Here's how I'd buff these mons Love Meloetta My favourite Mythical Wish it was better though. Maybe if it had an ability that changed its form based on the type of move it used. For example if it used Close Combat, turns to pirouette form. Kind of like a variation of Protean but stats instead of type. They did it with Aegislash, why not Meloetta? And buff Relic song to have 20% base sleep chance. Also in case of Shaymin, make Seed Flare 100% accurate in grassy terrain. Celebi needs a special equivalent of the move Dire Claw that gives a volatile status instead; Confusion, Infatuation, Drowsiness. (Psychic types are immune) {Will infatuation work though? Is celebi genderless?} Hoopa needs a better ability. Maybe like an effect like Mind's eye but better, the moves used by this mon ignore type immunities. And give it the move Mystical Power. Meltan is literally meant to be weak and unevolved. Although just for fun, give it an ability like Moody that instead of boosts, will randomly make one of its base Stats (except HP) every turn to base 255 only for that turn while other stats remain the normal they are. Would be fun😂 As for Phione, Throw it away and never talk about it. It never happened. It doesn't exist

@pussmagic154114 сағат бұрын
Mega Diancie has a pathetic base 50 HP too. Rock/Fairy is a solid type combination and definitely one of the better Rock-Type combinations. Currently using one for my Pokemon Violet playthrough, and she was good in the game so far. I would honestly buff Diancie's BST to higher amounts since base 50 HP doesn't cut it. A base stat total of 600 doesn't cut it for Mythical Pokemon anymore, unless if it's for a middle stage of a Mythical Pokemon evolution line. Diancie should definitely get the same speed stat as Mega Diancie and buff Mega Diancie's base speed stat to 210. And definitely buff that HP to 250 to 300, anything higher than 50. And buff the Rock-Type (especially getting rid of all weaknesses it has execpt for Water and Grass since those 2 are the only ones that make sense to me) in general and make the Rock/Fairy-Type from solid to amazing. Mega Diancie saw better performance than regular Diancie in the competitive scene. Only if normal Diancie was seriously buffed for good.

I feel like Phione was made at the last minute when Generation IV was in production. I literally forgot that it was a mythical, and the fact that you can only get it by breeding Manaphy and Ditto.

Another thing about meoletta aria form is that in gen 6, Megas got introduced which completely changed the meta, some of the frail psychic types that it was competing against got buffs, Mega Alakazam has like 150 speed, which is well enough to be out speeding most threats… and gardevoir also got the fairy type giving it powerful stab options against pesky dark and dragon types… yes Mega gengar exists but dose that really matter when gengar was meta defining?

I think base diamcie should be in this list instead of celebi, celebi was always a tire higher in any generation that both of them existed together
@pussmagic15412 минут бұрын
@diamondxlr8grade It's Diancie, you spelled her name wrong. Rock/Fairy is a solid type combination with potential to be one of the greatest type combinations to ever exist and pretty great offensive matchups. Their defensive matchups are awkward though, and it would be so much better if they're not weak to Ground (and they're neutral to Ground instead), resistant to and super effective against Steel-Types instead of be x4 weak to that said type and have more resistances including to Bug (though Bug needs 4 taken off the types that resist them list and replaced with that and Ice), Electric, Fighting and Steel. Making them a nightmare for any Fighting and Bug-Types basically. Mega Diancie on the other hand is a menace to society, the problem is she has a crappy HP stat of 50 even when Mega evolved, which to me is an absolute joke. I adore Diancie a lot and I even think she deserved to get buffed. I would give regular Diancie the same speed stat as Mega Diancie and make Mega Diancie have a base speed stat of 210, make her HP to 250 to 300 instead of a pathetic 50 and give her more coverage moves, Fairy-Type moves and a better movepool in general.

To sum up: Celebi: bad typing, decent ability Meloe: awkward mechanics, good ability but no moves to utilise Hoopa: bad ability, awkward speed tier Shaymin: Nothing stands out Phio: Phio

Celebi’s tool kit and stats being lacking in the modern era is certainly a big part of the problem, but it’s also worth noting that its viability in any given tier is also heavily dependent on Zarude’s presence nowadays too.

the reason some of the newer ones are in ubers is because of their stats aren't just a flat 100 in everything, have absurd types and have good movepools.

I think the Mythicals should start having base stat totals of more than 600 that are not Hoopa Unbound, Mega Diancie and Arceus (I would give the former two higher BSTs as well).

Mythical stat spread Pokémon (100s across the board) are a lesson in minmaxing. Despite Celbi and the like technically having a higher base stat total than lots of new stuff, 1/6th of the stats get wasted depending on if you want to do physical or special attacks. Effectively turning their 600 BST into a 500 BST. You could run mixed, but that dilutes your stats even further doesn’t let them excel. You could even say some have 1/3rd of their stats removed if they don’t like taking certain physical or special attacks. (Making one of their Defense stats worthless) Whereas you compare it to the paradox pokemon, who all have BST weaker than the mythical stats, they all have stats that represent what they want to do. Flutter mane has a BST of 570, but it’s attack stat is 55, meaning that if you apply the wasted stats, it has a BST of 515. You can’t be good at everything anymore, you have to be excellent at everything, or be godly in one specific category.

Aria Meloetta does make for a real nice late game cleaner, especially to back up King's Rock Beat Up mons like Fezandipidi and Charizard. Really wish it hadn't missed out on gen 8 because both Durant and alolan Persian got Beat Up and both are fantastic at abusing it.

Names not outright stated due to faith in the comment section's basic logic and thinking skills: 5. The Onion DeLorean Fairy and the reason everyone hates/loves the GS Ball arc 4. It Takes Two To Tango, unfortunately 3. More rings than Superman 64, and more restraint on the "phenomenal cosmic powers" 2. Thanks for nothing 1. Hold the phone, I'm melting

Don't worry, I'm going to give Celebi a hug because they deserve it. Plus a little treat too. Celebi deserves better in the main series. Give them a better movepool, buff both the Grass and Psychic-Types, buff its stats and like the other Pokemon in general, give Celebi a chance to have separate moveslots for them to have coverage moves without wasting slots.

Meloetta needs a rework of her form change gimmick and some other minor additions to become at least OU relevant. Her form change should work with a non held item like deoxys; maybe a flute or something you keep in your bag to seap between Aria and pirouette. She stays in whatever form until you use relic song or the flute again out of battle. Relic song would be changed to 110 power and atk on the physical or special side depending on the higher offensive stat. Some movepool additions if she doesn't have them already: nasty plot, bulk up, swordance, aura sphere, agility, recover, drain punch, power up punch, psychic noise, u-turn, teleport.

Top 5 Mythical Pokemon: 1) Arceus (obviously) 2) Marshadow (OU for several seconds) 3) Deoxys (averaging its forms still has it firmly in Ubers) 4) Skymin (still the only unanimous ban?) 5) Genesect (a top mon in Gen 5 Ubers and perennial suspect test ace) Which saves me the trouble of explaining Magearna over Darkrai for the last spot

Celebi had a very respectful career, fallen of in recent gens, but if they just gave it fairy typing, it could see a revival. Its loterally a fary, so it fits perfectly too.
@Wildstar526721 сағат бұрын
I personally don't understand why they didn't change celebi to part fairy other than being stubborn, its a damn forest fairy with a weak connection to time travel being why its psychic I guess?
@jirehtheproviderКүн бұрын
@False Swipe Gaming For me, I say they could just do two ways for these 100 based mythical Pokemon. They are my overall favorite Pokemon to have. Option 1: simply replace their Psychic Type with Fairy Type. It’s not just lore wise good, but also fitting for them thematically. Perhaps a move poll and a needed stat distribution rework. For Melia and Phione, they may as well just drop their mythical status altogether just to make them proper Little Cup moms. Make them common wild Pokemon to catch in-game with a grindy method to evolve them to a Manaphy. Same case for Melia into becoming Melmetal. Option 2:. Make all of the small and cute 100 based mythical Pokemon catchable in the wild like any other odd encounter. Give them like a Bagon or Absol Encounter percentage rate. Extra request, make them legitimately breedable. Some of us are down hatching a bunch of Jirachi or Mew eggs. Who’s to say we can just breed a bunch of shaymins we catch in the wild?
@nicocchiКүн бұрын
As someone who's caught a ton of Meltan because of GO, I honestly have no idea how its stats or movepool looks in mainline lol. Because you have to evolve it in GO before sending it on a one-way trip to HOME, or else it'll never become a Melmetal
