Synopsis
UA Academy's Class 1-A has been the focus of a substantial amount of public attention due to the multiple villain attacks they have faced over the past school year. This attention has left Class 1-A's rivals, Class 1-B, feeling quite bitter. Desiring to prove their skills, they look forward to the opportunity that has been given to them: a set of mock battles between the students of each class.
The classes are split into squads of four, each of which is tasked with capturing the other group members. The winner is the group who first secures all of the opposing team. While this sounds simple, a curveball is thrown into the mix with the inclusion of General Course Student Hitoshi Shinsou, who wishes to transfer into the Hero Course. Despite using his training with Class 1-A's homeroom teacher Shouta "Eraserhead" Aizawa to prove that he's capable of being a real hero, he is still far behind the others due to his lack of experience. However, Shinsou is determined to overcome this challenge.

When you think about it, All For One didn't really have to do much to recruit followers. The hero society was basically pushing people like Shigaraki, Lady Nagant and this ver. of Deku off a cliff. The only thing AFO had to do was wait at the bottom and catch them just before they hit the ground.

In my honest opinion, this should be considered a elseworld story of MHA as Deku walks the path of the villain. This is the best interpretation of Villain Deku, I read other fanfics of Villain Deku as a Survivor or something else and they're good in thier own right but this one...gives me chills! Adding characters from the movies is just incredible, Deku now has a team of his own finally. This situation can only get worse and I'm here for it all.

That's my thoughts exactly. What make (in my eyes) this comic so great is that Deku's personality wasn't changed for the plot. It's the same Deku than in the canon work but who experienced much more and more harmful event than the canon one. Thanks to that we got a Deku that feel familiar yet is so different. Because his change of path was cause not by himself but by the world, we can still root for him and we don't wish for him to "go back to the right side", we want him to win and bring this whole society to the ground. It's also because of that than it's logical enough than other characters, even some that are on the hero side in the canon, join him in this. Overall (pun non intended) this is more than a fan-story. At this point it's an actual (unofficial) elseworld or a What-if.

Even as a villain, you can tell Deku is truly disgusted by Overhaul's experimentation and abuse of Eri. Even in small details, such as how he meticulously wipes off his glove after shaking his hand. Also, this version of Deku really has a better understanding of Eri, in that both had to suffer due to a hero turning their backs on them: All Might and Lemillion. Amazing story and looking forward to your next villain Deku Upload!!!!!

Even if Deku is "weak" to the eyes of the others, he had a true soul of a leader and with his strategic and analytics skills, he can planned villains strategies with counting what he know about villains and heroes. He can be a perfect criminal/vigilante/hero with his knowledge but because he was rejected for being quirkless, the society never can recognize their error for letting him outside the society and they never admit their fault. They just deserved karma and that name is Deku. So imagining him as a villain with a quirk like he had in this fanfic, his development possibilities are infinite.

Im not gonna lie, this is one of the most coolest villian deku series I ever seen. And that unexpected twist where he had planed this event this whole time with no errors. The foolish heroes were so cocky that they didn’t even know that he had his very own loyal comrades. Gotta say, one of the best combinations as a team. Villain team… And how he even showed the children the true society of this world and they joined him at his side, becoming the most powerful quick users at such a young age. Deku even still has that soft spot for his allies even though he is a dangerous man. The heroes should be scared of him… Because they’re the ones who created a monster… No, a devil himself… It’s funny how this is what we could’ve gotten, but we got the cannon version instead…

So from what I get, Bakugo and Mirio are the two representations of the current heroes in Deku’s eyes. Bakugo and his selfishness, childishness, and actions that clearly relate to villainous more than heroic. Mirio and his absolute faith in the system, Naivety, and conflicting problem of wanting to help, yet finding out how grey everything is instead of the black and white he has always known.

in a way you can see that while they wish to become heroes, neither of them are really into the "serving the people" guideline: bakugo wants to be a hero for his own pride and arrogance; he serves himself. mirio does want to help people, but he chooses to serve the system first which (as deku has proven) can be corrupted by people who can and will use it to further their own goals. even if it means throwing those people to the wolves. also i don't mean to say nighteye was a corrupt personbut he was (perhaps unknowingly) corrupted by it, he wanted mirio to be the next all might, but you have to ask yourself 2 questions; 1. would all might have abandoned eri like that? 2. would nighteye have abandoned eri like that?

I wholeheartedly approved of Deku as a Heroic Villain. How the entire world, along with heroes, who slander his reputation, rob his future of wanting to be a hero despite being a quirkless, cheated on the promise with Deku's mother about transferring her quirks to her beloved son, and forsaken Deku that the heroes were sworn to protect and value. The world continues to precede Deku as a notorious villain, yet deep within his remains are the sliver of heroic virtues that those heroes ineffectively lack. It is as Stain stated out, Villain Deku represents the gray truth that the heroes have yet to realize and embrace the truth, the only truth and nothing but the whole truth. The stronger desire wanting to be that hero, the stronger fear that will soon be manifest. While All for One may be the Mastermind rival against One for All, there is another villain who is currently working under the brand name of "Hero Society". It is a cruel and unfair irony to become a villain that was done in and cause by those very same heroes. It would seem they desire villains and the villains they want. I am looking forward to seeing the End real soon.

Also at this point I'm pretty sure UA's good name is officially down the toilet. Thanks to Deku. Hmmm let's see: Kidnapped 2 UA pro hero teachers in front of everyone. Blew off Ida's leg. Led the attack on the summer training camp. Possibly blinded Eraserhead. Kidnapped class 1-B and turned them into Nomus. Recruited a UA student. Out maneuvered UA's Big Three, and their top first years.

What I love most about this version of villain Deku is that he isn't just some overpowered monstrosity who no-diffs everyone. He's smart, resourceful, deadly patient, and VERY charismatic. All of the qualities that make him a great hero also make him an exceptional villain. He inspires and moves people to join his side, not through fear, but through the same passion and love that, in a different timeline, would have been truly representative of his heroic heart. We see Deku take minor losses or get surprised, sure. But he relies on his teammates and recruits like-minded people who trust his character and strategic leadership. He's such a great villain because he still has the heart of a hero. His motive has simply taken a darker turn, and I think that's REALLY good writing.

One thing I will never get over is Deku's shock and sadness towards Eri after seeing her memories. He... a "heartless, reckless" villain... was brought to tears from the pain he saw. He was truly disgusted by what Overhaul and his goons did to her. And when the guy tried to take Eri back, Deku became enraged and released his bloodlust and anger at him, making him back off in fear. This showed that he has his own morals and ideals. A random example of that would be a villain not hurting women and children. Deku may be a villain, yes, but he's still human. That's where Lemillion screwed up. No one should let someone as young and as pure as Eri continue suffering like that. Even if he only *suspected* that she was in need of help, he still should've tried to save her. I'm genuinely intrigued by this story and I can't wait to see more of it in the future.

Not going to lie, me as a bachelor's degree in English and politics, whenever I see this, each and every panel, I say holy shit; this is one of the greatest things I have seen based on the story plot on youtube. Comparing yours to my written version from last year, there were similar ideas being used. not gonna lie i rate yours 10/10. If I could be an editor for this story, I would have suggested little things to add to make the story stronger, but your creation YUKITAN MANGAZONE is by far the greatest and best to read especially the part when Deku see eri, and teared up. I think for shinso to become a villain is kind acceptable, since the one who encouraging him to use his power and fought with him fairly is Deku. Maybe in this timeline, Shinso fought someone else because deku didn't exist on UA. Thus, he has an easy win against his opponent. It's also possible that Deku poached Shinso away from UA Considering his own personal experiences with the Hero System, he could've opened Shinso's eyes to the rampant corruption and offered Shinso a way to be a 'Real' Hero, or even asked for his help, going over all the ways his brainwashing quirk could help society. Shinso's whole life, he's seen his quirk as dark because others labelled it as such, so I feel like Izuku would have a major influence on determining if he decided to fight against those trying to force him to stay 'tainted' and prove to the world a Hero could have such a quirk, or if he'd allow himself to be fully submerged in darkness to keep the worse elements of society at bay, donning the mantle of a villain to hell those who would never realize exactly what he did for them

Bakugo is stuck in might is right, Mirio still thinks the world is black and white and Toshinori is stuck in his belief that without Nana giving him One for All, he would have never become a hero. There is no one on the uptake that society isn't good, that the world they live in is heavily bigoted and is experiencing a modern apartheid, separating the 'beautiful and powerful' quirks from the villains and ugly. There can only be talk no jutsu if UA and other heroes stand up to the corrupt government and sistem. We ain't seeing that. Everyone in power is too cozy and would never risk their station. Case in point, Endeavor.

To be completely honest, I’ve never once waited more patiently for a fanfic in my entire life but holy shit. The references, the call backs, the correlation to the original story with the “What If” story. The writing is perfect, the character build up from when we first saw Izuku Midorya fall from grace, from his purity of meeting his #1 Hero and being shot down with his dream of being a hero. It’s all too perfect that it makes me sad that this is a fanfic and not a possibility in the near future. All in all, this Deku in my opinion is more of a badass then anything I would’ve imagined. I think I know a few story/manga exactly like that. Be forewarned however, these titles are not for the squeamish. One's called Fukushuu O Koinegau Saikyou Yuusha Wa, Yami No Chikara De Senmetsu Musou Suru. Lit trans. The Strongest Brave who craves Revenge, shall exterminate with the Power of Darkness. Another good title would probably be Mujitsu no Tsumi de Ichizoku Morotomo Shokeisareta node Yomigaette Houfuku Shimashita. Sore wa Mou Tetteiteki ni!! a.k.a. She Retaliated Because Her Entire Family Was Wrongfully Executed. And Thoroughly at That!! Lastly would be Shokei Sareta Kenja wa Lich ni Tensei Shite Shinryaku Sensou wo Hajimaru or The Executed Sage Reincarnates as a Lich and Begins a War of Aggression. All revenge stories with individuals whom have or had heroic ideals in mind and in their own dark and ravenous ways are still the hero of the story, just not the kind you expect but the ones said world setting deserves.

This is so epic!! Been all into this villain deku concept in the form of comic dubs and animatics but this is something else entirely. Can't wait for the next chapter!

Amazing issue, well written and amazingly drawn. I can already see the challenges Mirio and Bakugou will have to face in the future. Mirio will need to grow more as a hero and act when necessary since he knew something was wrong with Eri but decided not to act. And Bakugou need's to face the consequences for his actions, just like Toshinori, and I still think he still doesn't fully see Izuku as a villain. Perhaps he still ( subconsciously ) considers Midoriya as the kid who dreams to become a hero. But he'll need to face reality soon enough. The dream is dead. And that kid is gone.

they may also have to acknowledge what deku said about the guy leading the hero commission. imagine when they realize the guy the heroes are supposed to work for is basically as bad as the villains and (basically) had a large part in making deku a villain. how can you trust the hero system when the people running it are criminals using it.

The more I watch these, the more I see him as an anti-hero than a villain. Like he's a chaotic neutral that has a lot of determination for his own movement. Man, if MHA went with this route for Deku (especially this version) then damn, I'd watch the heck out of it more.

He's more of a anti villain. An anti villain is the one who does villainous acts but with good intentions or goals. Most of them are revolutionary. An anti hero are just straight up monster. they're apathetic. The only thing that matters is to achieve their selfish goals. Most of them are control freak people or mercenaries who only live for the money.

To me, this IS the best comic/fanfic. PERIOD. Now I can't wait to see interactions beetween the members of Team Terror outside the action (for example how their recruitment was going off). I also would like to see what happened that Lady Nagant, the person who can easily kill almost every hero, calls 15 year old Deku her boss. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

The villain deku in this AU of mha is slightly different from the other villain dekus so far, cause this version of v deku and his actions resembles that of an antihero kinda like venom the lethal protector, in other words. This villain deku is not that bad he's in the middle of both good and evil, out of the villain dekus I've seen this one intrigues me the most ! And despite though he kills, yet still he cares and has pity inside heart. And more importantly just like hero deku, this villain deku fights not just to destroy the hero society, but he fights for what he believes in, not for a nation, not for company, nor for anyone else.

I think the proper term is "antivillain" as he is not truly heroic but not the definition of actually villainous either. Hell, he did more good for broken and or discarded individuals like himself than those sellout stooges calling themselves heroes ever did. While at the same time a lot of what he does is pretty damn heinous, he did turn a bunch of schoolkids into living dead super soldiers and did lord knows what to registered pro-heroes during his initial attack. Not to mention he stood by and let Stain the Hero Killer dispatch those whom he ruthlessly purged for being false heroes. Accomplice by inaction and all, even though I tend to overlook it given it was "Death Arms", hated him since the start of this comic💢 Still, you get it.

This is pretty much hero society's fault, the Hero Commission's fault, and All Might. All Might was kinda the flame that sparked the blaze but the aforementioned things are what ultimately led to this terrifying AU. Ya can't keep kicking people while they're down and expect them not to kick back, after all. That and while heroism is technically a job and it's not a bad thing to try and aim to be "off the clock", so to speak, it's important in my opinion not to ignore the rest of society that's.... "bad". Or the part of society that's overlooked in the MHA world, the side that Hawks came from (even though he was drafted into the Commission as a child soldier but semantics). You gotta find the balance between looking good when needed in front of the camera, but the job is ultimately to HELP PEOPLE. Not turn away. Which is what a majority of hero society does, producing more "spotlight" heroes in canon and ignoring the actual heroes, underground heroes, who don't actively seek the spotlight and do things off the grid, get those personal cases handled. At least that's my understanding. That's why it's so easy for the rot to be revealed with the LoV in charge of things; why they're winning here and in canon. Guess when they look back, they'll realize this was a long time coming.
