The show doesnt show the burn moment as clearly as the manga so its a bit confusing. When his mom burns him its because Shoto was standing in the doorway with his one blue eye and red haired side showing. Because of her exhaustion and paranoia due to Endeavors actions, she was spooked and in that second she thought it was Endeavor standing there, not Shoto. It was a panic responce made without any thought. I'm not excusing her, but the added context does make it make more sense

The dub ain't bad at all; definitely one of my favorites alongside the 90s dubs where I consider those to be like, THE way to watch them. But there's just something about the sub sometimes for super hard hitting moments. ESPECIALLY All Might's voice actor. I love Christopher Sabat, but Funimation needs to really find more people sometimes. Don't get me wrong, he kills it, but the Japanese voice actor is just another level. Would've been cool to find another deep voice actor for the english dub.

He did beat her though on at least two occasions and there is heavy implied domestic sexual assault, when it comes to the birth of Shoto…because later in the manga/ season 6 the conversation goes “let’s not have more kids, it will hurt Toya” but Endy is like “we will have more kids” then it cuts to his mad face, her frightened face, baby cry and cut to her looking completely broken. He messing her up mentally is just as bad as him physically placing her in a hospital, so it doesn’t really matter :)

Imagine having kids just for the sole purpose of surpassing someone. I bet Endeavor was screaming All Might's name during the baby making process like "ALL MIGHT!!!!......ALL MIGHT!!!!". This my my hated episode because the match should have been a draw . As soon as interference was brought in deku was affected way more . He was charging in with a physical attack while todaroki was shooting a blast off …of course a wall would destroy the guy charging in . Cementos quirk folded deku so there shouldn’t have been a winner
