I'm so envious of all you guys who got to see Del Amitri live. I have found so many live videos of them during Lockdown in Australia. It has made my life an absolute joy finding these precious gems

This band were among the most i listened in the nineties. I'd even collected three albums Waking Hours - Change Everything and Twisted, think that by the end of that decade, they " strangelly " disappeared or didn't became as focused as we expected. Alltough my favorite songs are: Nothing Ever Appens " " Surface Of The Moon " " Driving With The Brakes On " ....

They made 2 more albums and then took a long break. But they're in the studio right now making their first album for about 15yrs or more!!

Saw them several times in Chicago, they were big in the Midwest, headlining the free 4th of July concert at Grant Park. You read comments all the time on KZbin but they were always so close to being huge but it wasn't for the want of trying they sure toured hard all over the US. He is a genius lyricist and has written some beautiful tunes, funny articulate guy but could be a tad grumpy too lol.

Fantastic! Thanks for putting this online, really enjoyed it. My favourite band, so underrated and they deserved much more success, such tuneful heartfelt music to touch the soul. Watching this I realise how different Del Amitri were from the rest of the 90s music scene, not so obvious at the time. Saw them LOTS of times at Barrowlands, the best gigs ever :-D

is there a single comment about ANYTHING that exists on youtube that doesnt involve the word 'underrated'?. It's like a weird fetish and collective psychosis. Look up ANYTHING song or movie-related.

Justin sounds great, but in the last several years he has become out of this world. Either he really trained his voice or he simply heats better when he's not being blasted by the band

Agreed. His solo work is extraordinarily good. His voice is better than ever. And what a voice.
