Careless human beings or arsonists. The overwhelming majority of wildfires are caused by humans. Lived next to the preserve extension on Del Mar Heights for two decades. There isn’t enough loose flammable plant material in the reserve extension for it to be spontaneous combustion.

Careless humans. It wasn't spontaneous ignition, there isn't enough loose plant material in the reserve extension for that to be seriously considered.
