I agree 1000000 % todays country music is the same old crap over and over, my wife left ,took my truck and my dog got ran over,😂😂😂I😂😂😂😂😂😂

Yes, the least they could do is to change it up once in a while. For example, they could write a song in which it's the dog that leaves and takes the truck, and it's the wife that gets run over. 😁

Love this old obrey Ramsey song written right here where I live Madison county NC just two county's over from where del Mccoury was born in bakersville NC the true home of bluegrass music is here in western North Carolina

@@jayflaherty5260 cool I didn't know that but I knew it was written in Madison county NC big laurel is in Madison county NC that is where I am from my mother is a rice from big laurel as well I will have to see if I am related to the tom rice mentioned in the link you shared I know Baird Ray is a distant cousin I like to keep up with these things because my son is currently going to East Tennessee state University and a member of the Appalachian studies bluegrass music program he plays the mandolin

Great version of this old murder ballad. Very reminiscent of Bill Monroe and I state that regarding level of musicianship which is fuckin awesome!
