Im not sure who takes care of Saafir nowadays.. But it seems like he completely retired from rap since he got paralyzed, no new music or interviews from him.. He has a son who currently raps under the same name (he's not that good though lol).. The original Saafir is under the radar.. I was making beats back in 2009-2010 & I would go to the clubs & hear what people like & the new sounds was killing my spirit big time. So I quit but hip-hop still has my heart. Del rolled through my town up in Canada back in 07 and did 90 minutes of pure cosmic funk boom bap amazingness. He played all his gems from the various stages in his diverse career. Hip Hop Head Heaven yo, I was trippin. But I hope there are more parts to this interview cause Vlad never asked about the making of the Hieroglyphics magnum opus, Third Eye Vision. That album was a game changer for me personally back in high school and no doubt one of the greatest Hip Hop records ever made. Nevertheless, Del was mad nice, is mad nice and will always be mad nice on whatever project he's doin. Truly one of the greats on the mic with a style all his own and a huge influence for me. This is my fav Vlad vid yet, good job V. Peace Del, stay blessed.

Del was certainly tight on other rappers albums but went so left field it just would be dope for a minute but I wouldn't go back to it.
