Dang. Thangs for posting this. Though it's a few years dated it's still dope to see new interviews from one of the dopest. Hopefully someone can make an interview happen with him nowadays. This guy is needed in HIPHOP.

Saafir whose real name is Reggie was definitely one of the best and original for his time in the early '90s.. and not to forget he played the part of Harold, Cains cousin in the movie Menace 2 Society!
@amalmccaskill8075 Жыл бұрын
way ahead of his time, esp Boxcar Sessions. He had to dumb down a bit after that to keep from losing slow ass hip hop fans.

I heard he was wheel chair bound; do u know what happen?
@SixTenVisuals3 жыл бұрын
@@redpillreloaded369 He jammed his spinal area twice in his career. Once in a infamous early jump out of a TWA emergency stop on the runway - jumped over 20 ft before the slide came out. The other time was when him and Shock G were doing a outdoor interview for some hip hop channel, Saafir was try to show off for the camera crew by jumping on a fast moving freight train in Jack London Sq Oakland and jumped back off of it when it was going even faster. Shock said when Saafir landed it looked like he was running way faster than his legs could actually go. When they caught up to him, Saafir said "damn man..I think I fucked somethin up fa real this time". That was in like 2000, the TWA thing was in early 90's.
