I watched ZSHplays build some of this Ed’s habitats but never saw the completed tour. The platypus is my favorite and I use the low glass wall for tiny animals. So much in this build could be a favorite, fountain feature, exhibit feature and simply the natural looking landscape. Thanks so much for a wonderful build that inspires.

That was amazing. So life like. I love the idea of a “live” feeding where you can hang up meat for crocodiles, alligators and ever lions to jump up to eat. That would be a fantastic update if they could do that!

Could be wrong but I bet that fountain in the beginning is inspired by something you see in the new Jurassic World movie. I'd love to know how to pull off those water viewings in the entrance building. I've always struggled with underwater viewing

The idea that Florida is mostly swamp is a myth. Most of Florida's terrain qualifies as grassland, with the majority of the rest being woodland. The only reason we're considered swampy is because we have the largest wetlands area in North America within our borders. Something I like about the peafowl is that they might not be presented as a habitat species. We have a problem with peafowl as an invasive species, and quite often you will see them running wild in zoos and parks.

But no one says Florida is only a swamp 😅 the Wetlands zoo is just a zoo located in the swampy area of Florida. 🤷‍♀️ thats all 😊
