Wow this is so amazing testimony. I’m from Indonesia from North Sumatra. The story of my parents to be coming a chistian is. Long long ago How Jesus sent some missionary in to my area where all the people at that time still living in the jungle either naked or wearing a skins of the tree.The missionary from German his name is Nomensen. The native peoople killed him from spreading the Gospel. Long story after he died the chistianity spreading and growing All over place. The first christian colleague builed was in my Town they called university Nomensen and untill now still producing many pastors and missionaries to all over Indonesia. I always question how does he know this place he is from other country. But Jesus saves us and cares about us who lives in the jungle. He must be encountered Jesus and talked to him.

I am not an AI bot and I am an American citizen, but let me provide some background on Chinese history which can explain some things that he mentioned. 1. China was dirt poor prior to 1949 as the result of the Japanese invasion. They looted tonnes of gold and treasured antingues from China, along with the Eight-Nation Alliance (France, Italy, Germany, Japan, etc.) The culprit was a weak Qing Dynasty, the last emperial government of China. The Communist Party took over China in 1949 because the ruling party at the time, the Nationist Party, was corrupt. The leaders might not have been, but some members within the party were. 2. The Communist party or (most likely another ruling party who have not heard of tge Gospel) in China noted history from other civilations and feel that "religion" is something that causes civil unrest and division, so for a country the size of China, civil unrest can mean more problematic to deal with than other countries. 3. In Chinese history, silk was an industry that China monopolized and was a major source of income for China, but a monk/priest was hired to steal the silk worms and the secrets to produce silk. Some espionoge activities were conducted under the disguise of Christianity because throughout history, many missionaries did s lot of good for China and people in general had favorable images of Christians. This is why the Chinese government oppose unground churches, because how can they know if they are not getting together to plan to attack China? This is the scheme of the Enemy. Thanks to Sino-US trade war, things are not getting any better for Chinese Christians. But God ultimately triumphs, because the Christians from China are very dedicated because they still follow God under difficult circumstances. 4. The guest mentioned his wife got sick from drinking tap water in Beijing. FYI, tap water is still not drinkable in China. That is common knowledge among Chinese people. 4. The Chinese government is not perfect but it has helped China make tremendous progress in recent years. The mainstream media has its own agenda. But we all know that God knows all, sees all and is in control over all. We are called to love all, pray and let God be God.❤

I’m not trying to say his testimony is fake because I’m not Chinese so I’m not aware of what happened in the past, however things have changed, I currently live in China 2025 and my husband is Chinese and people can have their own religion, there are mosques, Catholic Churches, Christian churches, temples and so on, I have attended the local Christian church, I even have a bible with both Chinese and English translations, Christianity is growing in China. I can read the Bible in public, listen to worship music, I even pray for my food whenever I go to a restaurant, the problem I would say is that we are not allowed to preach in public or proclaim the gospel in schools, etc and it’s true that churches are supervised by the government, for example the church that I used to attend had all the departments, worship, Sunday school, etc but foreigners aren’t allowed to preach only Chinese, and there are other few rules, for this reason people decide to gather in houses and have services there. I have talked to Chinese people about God and no problem, some might agree to come to church with me some might not, but these days many people is slowly getting to know about Jesus. I’m not aware of what’s going on in the whole country because it’s too big but I know many places have Christians churches now, because there are many Africans and other foreigners living here and I know they gather not only in the church that I used to go but in small churches too.

I’m Christian too so no need to test the validity of his testimony I’m just stating how things are now in China for Christians. I currently live in China, I’m a Christian too, there are bibles ( not sold on online shopping websites, mostly sold on WeChat by private accounts and at church is possible to buy them too, me and my husband got one after we got baptized at church) worship music, there’s everything basically 😅, what we are not allowed is to proclaim Christianity in public, like some people gather in the street shouting believe in Jesus, salvation has come things like that, there are churches but are closely supervised by the government, however we can gather, some might gather in a home to be completely free from the rules of the government but churches here have Sunday school, worship, team, prayer team, etc, a place where foreigners and Chinese gather, I live in a big city, I don’t know what’s going in other parts of the country but I know even small cities have churches. What the government is against is basically bothering others let’s put it that way, there are even Muslims in China, they can go to mosque and live up to their religion but they can’t be in public praying or asking people to convert into their religion. I pray before meals when I go to the restaurant, read the Bible in the park, I even talk about God to other Chinese no problem some might agree to believe and some might not, I download Christian music from Chinese music apps, I have my own bible Chinese/ English translation, I can read Chinese but I’m not as fluent so I still read the Chinese version, so yeah Christianity is growing in China, I was staying at the hospital the last time and I was reading and praying there and the person I was sharing the room with was Christian too. What you do in the privacy of your home nobody cares actually just don’t cause public disturbance and that includes religion beliefs, but there are many people in China that have their own beliefs, there are mosques, Catholic Churches, Christian churches, temples, etc.
