This is Ray Comfort teaching a works based gospel: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qaSwXnmOpa59nNksi=YjkwJ6hD1tC0kHJP He says you must turn from sin to be saved. We are saved by grace through faith alone. Not of our works. Baptism won’t save you. We all sin everyday in word thought or deed. If we have to stop sinning after being saved, we would all not make it. I’m not promoting sin or saying you have a license to sin. Becoming more Christ like and doing good works is for Discipleship NOT for salvation. Your works or lifestyle do not prove your saved. Judas was a disciple but never believed, Judas even repented after selling Jesus out. He went to Hell. So stop with the lies. The only condition for salvation is faith in Jesus to save you. Repentance is a change of mind, nothing more. We repent when we stop trusting in anything but Jesus to save us.

@@CovelioRay preaches the truth. He presents the 10 commandments as a mirror not as a list to be perfect.. he presents the 10 commandment first so that we know we’re “sick” so he can clearly give us the cure which is Jesus. A person who doesn’t see the need for Jesus will not follow Jesus.. He goes on to say that Jesus paid the fine for all of our sins.. but do we continue to deliberately sin against God just because He’s already forgiven us and died for us?? No.. Ray is saying we have to trust Jesus like we trust a parachute in everything we do, he clearly explains that we can’t do it alone and we have to allow the Holy Spirit to lead us. To admit that we need Jesus in our daily lives, literally every moment of our lives.

My youngest son Tony invited me many years ago (20+ years) to go with him to meet up with Ray Comfort & his special group of men including Kirk Cameron who was sharing the Gospel with those people not far from t the pier of Santa Monica! WOW! I was thrilled to be there watching Kirk gently sharing a few different pamphlets and very creative; as usual on or off the main streets nearby the Santa Monica Pier!!! I was the elder of the group obviously but all there were respectful. Praise God! 😅 The small group we were with moved to the pier to initially watch & listen to Ray speak with those those who hesitated to listen to him then answer questions that Ray would begin to ask. A cameraman was running the video as he spoke with different folks to get their responses to Ray’s sharing the Gospel . I’ll never forget that initial meeting with Ray & his team! My son, Tony lately was hired to be one of Ray’s IT engineers part time because of his God given abilities! Thank God! PS I’ve been blessed to see & meet with Ray & his team a few times over these many years. ♥️🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏♥️ Elizabeth Ramsay-Wilt😊😎

@@elizabethramsay-wilt7995 The shocking truth is that Jesus will not save you. That’s right! Jesus will not save you, or anyone else, and here’s why, and to help you realize this, consider the following facts: Sin has separated you from God, the Father, the life-giving Spirit, and you have no access to His Holy Spirit while you are burdened and covered with sin. Without God, the life-giving Spirit, you will die without any hope of redemption and eternal life. You were born into a world of good and evil due to the fall of Adam, your original father, and the father of all mankind, and also due to your sins, God is far from you, and He will not redeem you. We, who are separated from God, and separated from the giver of life, which is why our lives end. Without righteousness, you have no access to God, the Father. To establish righteousness, God’s law was revealed to us, which can lead to righteousness, however, you, and everyone else on the planet, fell short of obeying the law of God, and now the law condemns you, and everyone, as all have fallen short of righteousness. But here is the good news, of ‘the Gospel,’ “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. ‘He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God’” (John 3:16-18). What is His name? What is the revealed name of the Savior, the only begotten Son of God? In Matthew 1:21, the angel commanded Joseph, a descendant of king David and betrothed husband of Mary, to give the newly born Savior, the only begotten of God the Father, the virgin-born Son of God, a specific name. But, did the angel give the name of “Jesus”? And this begs the question, can we change the name of salvation revealed from Heaven? The shocking fact is that the name “Jesus” has only existed since the 17th century CE! Before the name Jesus (gee-sus) existed, it was Iesus (ee-sus), as found in the Bible, the King James Version of the year 1611 CE. Iesus transformed from the name Iesous (ee-sous). Iesous is a transliteration of the Aramaic name Yeshua. Will God honor belief in a name (Jesus) he never revealed as the name of salvation? If we chose Jesus, as the name of salvation, a name that came into being through linguistic evolution, are not the names Jesus, Iesus, Iesous, counterfeits? The angel did not speak to Joseph in English (Jesus), Latin (Iesus), or in Greek (Iesous). Why is this even an issue? The apostle Peter gave this testimony: “Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12). This excludes any other name, or names, not revealed from Heaven! The name “Jesus” is there in the New Testament, and if it did not get there by the revelation of God, then why is it in the Bible? It was authorized by the traditions of men and not the revelation of God. That would make the name Jesus a counterfeit name, and therefore, not honored by God. Now what do we do? We failed the requirements of the Law, which if obeyed afforded us righteousness and acceptance to God the Father, and therefore eternal life, and we do not have the one name given under heaven by which we must be saved! And God never revealed the names of Jesus, Iesus, or Iesous, so what is the revealed name of salvation? So what do we do? We must find the name of our salvation in the Word of God, and not according to the tongue of man! Let’s start, with a man by the name of Saul, a Jewish religious leader, who was commissioned to go to Damascus to arrest and prosecute Jewish believers in Christ. Later he gives this testimony of his journey to king Agrippa, “While thus occupied, as I journeyed to Damascus with authority and commission from the chief priests, at midday, O king, along the road I saw a light from heaven, brighter than the sun, shining around me and those who journeyed with me. And when we all had fallen to the ground, I heard a voice speaking to me and saying in the Hebrew language, ‘Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me? It is hard for you to kick against the goads.’ So I said, ‘Who are You, Lord?’ And He said, ‘I am YAHSHUA, whom you are persecuting” (Acts 26:12-15). We know that Jesus, Iesus, or Iesous are not Hebrew names, therefore, Christ did not reveal those names. Did Saul, who now is an Apostle, who afterwards went by the name of Paul, and who was sent by Christ to preach the Gospel of Christ, actually hear the name “YAHSHUA”? This is a very unique name, and it would likely be considered a philological impossibility by linguistics today. But notice, that the name YAHSHUA has the prefix of YAH. What does prefix mean? A prefix can be a letter or group of letters that may be added to the beginning of a word to modify its meaning. Shua means “my help”, as in “salvation.” Therefore Shua is modified by YAH, and literally means, “I AM Salvation.” YAH is part of the true name of God, and we praise this name by saying, “Halleluyah,” which means “Praise YAH!” The meaning of YAH is “I AM.” Many believe the name of the God of the Bible to be YAHWEH. YAH is “I AM”, but “weh”, who knows? Where did we get the name YAH? Short answer, the name YAH was revealed to Moses. “Then Moses said to God, “Indeed, when I come to the children of Israel and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they say to me, ‘What is His name?’ what shall I say to them?” And God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM” [that is: “HaYAH Ashar HaYAH,” HaYAH means “the I AM”] And He said, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, ‘I AM [YAH] has sent me to you.’ ” Moreover God said to Moses, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel: ‘The Lord God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you. This is My name forever, and this is My memorial to all generations” (Exodus 3:13-14). YAH is “the name which is above every name.” Did the apostle Paul hear “the name which is above every name” on the road to Damascus? Yes, he did, as his testimony clearly reveals. He did not hear the name Jesus, but he heard the name YAH, and he writes, “Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of YAHSHUA, every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that YAHSHUA the Christ is LORD, to the glory of God the Father” (Philippians 2:9-11). What is truly being said here? The Christ has “the name which is above every name,” YAH. We, all creatures, are to bow before this name YAHSHUA! Every language, every tongue, is to know this one revealed name from Heaven! Any name not revealed by God is a counterfeit name, and therefore tantamount to idolatry! Any name not revealed by God is not the name of salvation, whereby we must be saved! To reject the one name given under heaven by which we must be saved is to stand and be condemned already (John 3:18).

I was a good Mormon kid from Southern California and I had a similar experience. I had joined the Navy and was stationed in Norfolk Virginia as an aircraft mechanic. I strayed a bit off the path for a couple of years and I had a similar experience. I had attended a friends end of the season Lifeguards party at an old Coast Guard Station 30 miles , or so from the Air Station. Everyone was smoking dope and drinking and I believe something was in one of the joints I shared and I sort of blacked out, really blacked out. My friends say I got on that Triumph 500, started it , said goodbye , and the miracle was, I made it the 30 miles home, and I remember none of it, maybe just one traffic light and it all went black again. I woke up the next morning in my own bed, with my motorcycle parked in front of my apartment, and no memory of the trip home, except for maybe that one traffic light. I quit everything that day, and got back on the path like my parents taught me and never strayed again. I know someone watched over me and I never forgot that night.

@@llamalady8700 yeah, back in the 70’s drugs were everywhere and very easy to find, I guess depending where you lived, mostly like in a city., and in those days you really didn’t have to buy it, because most young people had it on them or knew someone who had drugs. There was always something to take , like weed of course, uppers, downers, etc. Oh yeah plus alcoholic beverages. To be honest, before I did all these things in my mid - teenage years, I was raised a Pentecostal! and was later involved in a Christian Jesus Revolution hippie movement too after that , I became a clean Christian hippie, this was because we were reaching out to worldly hippies, so the only way to reach them was to at least look like them without the drugs etc. and it worked! Many came to Christ. They felt accepted. But even in those days there were many false religious cults like (“ the children of God, “) they were mimicking us to deceive others, another one was (“ Get right get saved “), I guess I can write a book 📖 or make a movie out of my crazy past lifestyle back then. I was just a curious guy back then and I was trying to fit in somewhere in my life, always looking for the truth and answers to life, etc. which was a good and bad thing, it was a bitter sweet experience and a dangerous one too. Who knows , maybe we met in that era somewhere and never knew that we would now be sharing our comments later on You Tube lol! , life can be strange sometimes. Thanks for sharing!✌🏼🕊️

I would bargain with God. I fell away as a teenager when I started pursuing losing my virginity. My falling out with God lasted till I was 22-23 in 2021 and found the truth through your videos Ray Comfort. It led me to give up on myself and seek God and in a few months after God blessed me with a woman that I would come to marry a couple months after repentance. We connected on Jesus and got married the same year. Something I never seen coming. It was quick and I am deeply appreciative to God that I found your interviews. Thank you Jesus Thank you Ray Comfort.

As you were speaking (at 24min) about fear of death, I was thinking, "I'm not afraid of dying," and then I thought WAY BACK to when I was a little girl and had a nightmare of demons pulling me away from my parents and my big brother, and in the dream, that I would never see them again. .. One night, my dad was tucking me into bed, and I told him I didn't want to go to sleep, because of the nightmare. My parents took me to the living room and explained to me about Jesus and salvation. And that when they die, they will be in heaven. I made Jesus my Lord that night. Of course, I don't remember everything in that conversation, as I was VERY young. But as we walk with the Lord and "work out our own salvation," we learn and grow more, so though I was saved at a young age, I continue to grow more as I submit to Him each area of my life. .. (I was BOrn in '72.) .. So I don't fear death NOW, but I guess I did once. 😄

God bless you so much Ray. You played a huge part in my life when I was a false convert at 18 years old and didn't even know it. I read Hell's Best Kept Secret and I believe a multitude of seeds were planted. I was born again and filled with the Spirit at 24, and now at 35 I can honestly say that not only have those seeds sown by your book and your witnessing clips produced a bountiful harvest in me, but I have also been able to sow seeds I've learnt through your pure, scriptural ministry into others lives over the years. You've been an inspiration to me and an encouragement from age 18 to now and you and your love and thankfulness to God will always hold a special place in my heart. And it totally resonates with me what you said in your amazing testimony, the thankfulness I have to God for saving me from certain spiritual death living as a false convert, it brings me to tears still now as if i was saved yesterday. @@jessiska2468 He says that you must repent of your sins and trust Christ alone for salvation. How can you possibly trust Christ alone for salvation when you are also trusting in your performance ( repenting of sins )? You absolutely can't. The entire book of John says believe about 99 times no mention of repentance. When you have believed on Christ alone for salvation then you have repented unto life! Jonah 3:10, " And God saw their *works* that they turned from their wicked way and God repented of the evil that He would do unto them and He did it not." *Repentance of sins is works.* Furthermore; sin is transgression of the law, therefore, repentance of sins is *law keeping* and is certainly a lifetime of works and has never saved anyone or contributed in any way to salvation. If repentance of sins helps save you in any way then it had better be perfect repentance. God's standard is absolute perfection not your best efforts. Trying doesn't count. Not even one sin is allowed to be in Heaven. The book of James says that if you follow the whole law and offend in one point you are guilty of all. Oops, so much for helping out with your salvation by attempting to repent of your sins. God grants repentance unto the acknowledgement of the truth. *Saving repentance is realizing that you are a sinner deserving of God's just punishment in Hell and turn (repent) from whatever you trusted in before, if indeed you trusted in anything; to trusting in the person and finished work of Christ alone for salvation.* So it's plain and simple that Ray Comfort has another gospel of faith plus works equals salvation nonsense.

If you care enough about your own eternal destiny , let the scriptures decide. We both can’t be right!

I really enjoyed this testimony. My Bible study teacher uses Ray’s videos sometimes to spark a discussion. I’m glad he was able to partner with y’all to get his testimony recorded. A prayer request for me: please pray for the salvation of my family - especially my brother Charles. Thank you!

@@blue-eyedbarber1935 He says that it's not by works, he says that it's a free gift, then immediately tells you to work. That's a false gospel of faith plus works equals salvation nonsense. Jonah 3:10 calls turning from sins," works." " And God saw their *works* that they turned from their wicked way and God repented of the evil that He would do unto them and He did it not." *Repentance of sins is works.* Furthermore; sin is transgression of the law, therefore, repentance of sins is *law keeping* and is certainly a lifetime of works and has never saved anyone or contributed in any way to salvation. Galatians 2: 16, 2: 21, Ephesians 2: 8 ,9, 10, Romans 3: 28, Romans 4: 5, 6, and Romans 11: 6, clearly seperate faith from works of any kind (Mosaic Law or the laws written on our hearts). If repentance *of sins* helps save you in any way then it had better be perfect repentance. God's standard is absolute perfection, not your best efforts. *Saving repentance is realizing that you are a sinner deserving of God's just punishment in Hell and turn (repent) from whatever you trusted in before, if indeed you trusted in anything; to trusting in the person and finished work of Christ alone for salvation.* Ray says trust Christ alone for salvation. How can you possibly trust Christ alone for salvation when you are also trusting in your performance? He's got another gospel of faith plus works equals salvation nonsense. The entire book of John says believe about 99 times no mention of repentance. When you have believed on Christ *alone* for salvation then you have repented unto life!

Ray is totally correct about those who are forgiven much love much!!! My family basically thought I was crazy… however after reading Mark 3, I laughed because Jesus’s family thought HE was out of HIS mind! Jesus understands us passionate followers!! Thanks Ray! Let no man deceive you… your works won’t save you. Turning from sin won’t save you. Matthew 7:21 “Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.” (KJV) What’s the will of the Father for us? John 6:40 “And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.” (KJV) The will of the Father is to believe on the son for salvation. Born again. Once a son always a son. He will never leave nor forsake us. Sealed until the day of redemption. You can’t lose you salvation. You cant work for a free gift. Once saved always saved. Amen 🙏

I would love to give my testimony. I was in a similar situation. I used psychedelics and it totally opened my mind to evil and changed my life. My husband was involved in Santeria but I am Catholic . The things I saw and manifestations that took place were unbelievable. I even worked with an exorcist priest because it became that extreme. To make a long story short I completely changed my life around. My husband has converted to Catholicism and came back to the church . I examine my consciousness and repent often and never miss a Sunday mass. I am now running 2 youth ministries in 2 different churches and plan to go throughout the diocese and grow our youth ministries . I experienced Jesus and also seen and experienced the evil that comes from sin (literally it as manifesting out of my body). My goal is to continue volunteering with the church and do Gods work. I pray for the lord to guide me and protect me as I do his works. God Bless!

What hit me hard in this testimony is when you speak on faith meaning to "trust in God's integrity." That was awesome! To talk about the trust we have in soo many things or people... I was just talking to someone about the trust we have in Rollercoasters to flip us and speed us around at G forces lol how much more trust we SHOULD really have in God!! Awesome!!

Glad to hear Ray´s testimony after following the Living Waters Channel for a few months. I am one of those who had said the sinner´s prayer over and over and nothing happened. Still don ´t „feel“ saved, but after years of doubt had come to put my trust in Rom. 10:13. Over decades knowledge of sin has grown and I have come to trust the Spirit testifying to my spirit that I am a child of God. Not emotions, just supernatural knowledge.

Thank you for sharing this! I was so scared sharing my testimony because I also took LSD and I was so confused by the encounter and only told a few friends and they think I’ve gone mad. After dealing with a death in Cambodia, I was so lost I took LSD and I went straight into the spirit realm. I was so confused and I spoke to the “astral spirit from church God heaven kingdom come” I was an atheist so I was so confused. I had an out of body experience. He told me that being a humanities teacher is one funny way to follow the “Teacher of Humanity”. He gave me visions of hallucinations I was given as a child which predicted my life up to that point and I remembered them. He also told me - do not deprive yourself, do not deprive others, live life fully. It’s amazing that you escape to human created realities in video games, but who do you think created your reality? You are like a video game character in a game, live life like you wanting to play the game. He also told me the reason why wars and horrors happen is that people have the choice to either work together to make the world a better place, or act selfishly or with evil to deal destruction or hurt with each other. Love and kindness is the most universal thing and the reason why we are on earth. I was so confused and I kept trying to go back into my body to take control of my body again and it felt like eternity, I saw time move in the funniest way, it moved backwards, forwards, quickly, slowly, but in real life it was about 4 hours. And when he finally let me back in my body, I was given a vision of Jesus Christ resurrecting like the same way I got put back in my body. And I remember yelling “Christos Anesti” Me being an idiot - thinking all religions explained the same thing - became a Buddhist because I wanted to understand the trip and found Timothy Leary’s book Psychedelic Experience - based on the Tibetan Book of the Dead. I was so confused - who was the teacher of humanity? The Buddha? I thought Jesus was a man that was enlightened like the Buddha. I thought all religions explained the same thing in their own way. Raised non religious Buddhist, it was the first place to go. When I had a water blessing from the monk - I was given a vision of a priest asking me “DO YOU REPENT YOUR SINS? DO YOU ACCEPT JESUS CHRIST AS YOUR LORD AND SAVIOUR?” and I said YES and at the same time the Buddhist monk asked me if I wanted good luck, fortune and blessing and poured water on me - and I felt a black smoke leave my body. I spent 5 months as a Buddhist, meditating and following mindfulness practices, and seeking the truth and trying to unpack the trip and chasing “the universe” for answers. I fell into the new age, but was still searching for the truth. I didn’t feel complete, I was just seeking for something to fill this void in my heart. I wasn’t seeking enlightenment - I was seeking love. Funny thing is that when I went to Japan - I was meditating in a zen temple and I kept seeing Jesus and the three crucifixes - and I felt like that was the truth I needed to awaken to. I went to an art gallery in Kyoto, and they had an exhibit about love. And part of the exhibit was about how Christianity is love - and I felt a supernatural love that felt so real and powerful beyond space and time in my heart and I cried wondering what I did to deserve it. And I felt God placed multiple chance encounters with 2 Christians that I felt the “divine” wanted me to be best friends with them. I given my life to Christ ever since and I feel the Holy Spirit changing me to be a more loving and kind person. Got baptised and started going to church and I’m convinced from being an atheist that became a Buddhist - I found the way, the truth and the life. I’ve seen supernatural stuff and things I can’t explain that I know God is real - and people think I’m crazy living for God - but I see living for the world is the real crazy!

We have similar stories. I never took lsd, but tried cannabis, and shrooms once. I was also looking for truth, and was Buddhist for a year or so, but also felt something was still missing, it wasn't fulfilling. Then certain hardships transpired, and I prayed for mercy when I lived in Germany for a few years. Now I'm back in the USA and a born again Christian. Had a dream a couple months ago and saw Christ. All my pain, worries, etc, all melted away when I hugged Him. I never felt such a deep love like that. There's no comparison. Loving family, friend, dog, is nice too but every person has problems, but Christ was the absence of sin. It was incredible. Now I'm studying Christianity and also listen to James Wallace who is a homicide detective and wrote books on the gospels and how according to the evidences its all true. Christianity was the answer the whole time but as a teen a long time ago I was confused about it and some people around me pushed me away from it. Now I understand why, they didn't understand it either and didn't like giving up their sins.
