Wow! You are describing a vision within a dream I had on August 29, 2024. I saw Jesus ( actor in Gospel of John) He was like chasing people down putting his hands on their heads like waking them up😭 And I cried to Him and said "Lord what about my husband?" He answered " He is next!" And as I was standing in front of Jesus I had a vision. Jesus with both His hands touch my husband's head & saw His glory cover him😭🙏 Im holding on to that🙏 He is soo good❤❤

Just wow. Apart from his personal experiences, this sounds like my life. Struggling with addiction and knowing God is real and is after me and still saying "hold on". I hear you God. I've been hearing you. I've believed and followed Him since a teenager, even though i've always been troubled. But since addiction got a hold of me, i've been fighting for my life for years. @ that's a good question. It's so crazy and so sad because I want to and I resonate so much with what he's saying, so it's like a surrender thing I guess. If i'm being completely honest with you I really don't know why I just can't stop even though I know better. It's gonna take a lot out of me.

@ ask and cry out to god daily to help you fully surrender to him. specifically ask to him to give you the fear of the lord… to put the fear of him in you. GO TO CHURCH if you are not already. finally a good spirit filled church. seek deliverance. forgive me if youre already doing these things im just trying to help. it is gods will to deliver you from addiction and the sin of using substabces, so if youre praying and not seeing any change there has to be some stuff on your end that you have to do that youre refusing to. are there other sins you also have to cut out? you have to fully want this, god cant want it for you. ask him to give you the desire to change. seek god first above all else and the rest will fall into place. have you gone to a rehab? when i finally got delivered from the bondage of addiction i was in a rehab by myself in my room. are you actively striving to change or are you sitting back and hoping god will just come out of nowhere and zap you and make you better?

@ ask the holy spirit to convict you and to grieve you with the godly sorrow that leads to repentance. pray and seek for a supernatural encounter with gods presence, power and love. i got delivered and set free from addiction in seconds just by one brief moment where his spirit fell on me.

@@sipduhcyanide wow i'm so happy to hear that you are free! Thank God! And yes, I am going to a great church faithfully every Sunday, praying, etc. but you are absolutely right, it is me. There is a lot that I could absolutely be doing better, 100%. What i'm doing is not enough, I know. There are other things I need to cut out and I think, like you said, I have to fully want it. See, I tell myself I really do want to be rid of this but at the same time, sometimes I just get so exhausted that it gets used as an excuse. I'm so happy and grateful to be reading your comment because it has given me more hope and has also reminded me to pick myself up and get it together fr! Everything you're saying, I say these things to myself but do not put them in action enough so if i'm being honest i'm really not doing much at all. I see the devil trying to tell me the pleasure feels good but I know it's false pleasure and I am tired. Truly, thank you for this. I am believing to be set free and I start right now with full faith and praying for strength and desire from God.

This doesn't have anything to do with this video but I have to chime in. I don't believe that "powerful" testimonies are as powerful as ordinary testimonies. Here is why: although the "powerful" testimonies with incredible turnarounds, hardships, etc etc are riveting and interesting, it doesn't set the best precedent for others. It might lead people to think 'oh I am feeling good right now and I don't have much of a testimony nor do I care much about Christianity and I want to rebel/live life first then settle down with Christianity' because the average person certainly doesn't take these paths, and for them to try to replicate these paths can be very very dangerous. These testimonies seem to help believers reaffirm their faith...

Tbh in my opinion, based on what God did in the Old Testament, I don't think he is all good (for example, Exodus 21:20-21, Exodus 4:11, Deuteronomy 22:13-22, etc. I mentioned that Deuteronomy verse because not all women bleed after the deed, so half of the women being stoned would be innocent). An all loving and all good God wouldn't be like "love and have your entire live revolve around me or burn in my basement forever", right??
