I love this song. It makes perfect sense, whatever your problem is whether you carry old pain with you or you are in a bad place in your life....there is always a more beautiful person and a more loving song that can always be sung. Like a few people have stated a lot of them are classically trained. Also, it suits the genre better. It just wouldn’t sound as good if you have someone who’s can’t really sing doing a metal song. The instruments and the production is usually already powerful, so it’s more fitting to have someone with a strong voice to balance it all out.

***** As much as i hate talking about other band, while listening to particular band, this man has a point. I mean i love Tuomas' music, but i don't think he is able to let his bandmates be more involved in composing process, just look at all the adnotaions on any Nightwish album, almost everything is composed and writtenby Tuomas. This guy has a talent and stuff, but the last 3 Nightwish albums sounds almost the same. Dark Passion Play was fine, Imaginaerum was awesome and epic, Endless Forms is decent in my humble opinion. These 3 albums are done at the same pattern, once it worked, and once it did not. If Talking about Marco himself, it's true that he is more "noticable" here in this song than on the last NW album. I haven't heard anything other from Delain but this song made me realise i need to go deeper and explore that stuff, it sounds powerful :3

The problem with Tuomas is he has an idea in his head of how he wants nightwish to sound and refuses to deviate from that. Don't get me wrong he is a great composer, but I think if nightwish are to succeed as a band he needs to let the others have input into the music.
