They had one main vocalist. And sometimes they worked with some guest stars. In this song there is only one singer - Charlotte Wessels. Now she is on her solo journey, but she was a part of Delain for a reasonably long time and they managed to record a lot of successful albums with her. Interesting fact is that she is also from Netherlands, same as Floor Jansen (Nightwish), Anneke van Giersbergen (The Gathering, Ayreon, Vuur), Sharon den Adel (Within Temptation), Simone Simmons (Epica). I call the that "Netherlands Female Metal Squad" - determined to rule the world ) In a good way, of course.

Saw Delain when they opened for Nightwish in 2015 in Vegas! They were awesome!!!!

Hey David. Saw them live in Birmingham, UK on their last tour. They played this and it was great, she managed all parts beautifully. They are excellent live.

I liked your reaction and analysis overall. I feel your comment about the songwriting being “lazy” was a little much. Of course we are all entitled to our opinion which is fine but I feel that just because they could have done something more (in your opinion), that doesn’t mean they were lazy. Every song can’t be perfect but I felt that “lazy” is a poor choice of words. Other than that, I really enjoyed your reaction.

Thanks for the review DH. Sadly Delain did not finish on top, the final album sounded more like radio music in my ears and the album cover var rediculous. To me their best album is The Human Contradiction
