It’s a paradise, I live an hour and forty minutes away and sometimes go up there. While it’s not like Fostoria where trains are coming every two seconds, it’s a nice place and I highly recommend it.

Did you know that the old train station is now gone? They tore it down a long time ago, because it was in really bad condition. I'm glad I got to see it standing when my Dad and I came to Deshler for train-watching a few years ago before they knocked it down.

South Philadelphia is one of 3 yard locations (the other two being Oak Island and Detroit) under the control of Conrail Shared Assets. Also, Precision Scheduled Railroading is a joke. I know Harrison meant well, but he should’ve first analyzed the potential impact of current constraints on CSX’s physical plant before implementing PSR.

CSX Q165 would’ve been CP 133 which means this Train travels from Montreal Quebec to Chicago Illinois.

The track connects Chicago to pittsburgh. Also because there is an inter modal yard east of deshler.

Amtrak doesn't come thru deshler. They only come from Toledo , Columbus And Cleveland.
