When you were adding the black soot to the corners you said build the color up slowly. Every artist says the same thing. No one says why. If you're not changing the color why build it slowly. I have a very heavy hand and I get impatient. Thank you for this tutorial. You're a great teacher.

Thanks for watching. The reason for building up the colors slowly is so that you have control with the depth of the color. You can always add color but you can’t take it away!

Wonderful video! It was technically long but it flew by so well done. I cheated on creating my window by looking online for window line drawings, down loading adjusting the size when I printed it out. Where can we post our finished versions of the card?

Hi Robin, How did you do the window mask. Do you have a measurement that you went by? I see you drew a center line, but trying to figure how to draw the mask out. Thank you for any info you have. I follow you on fb. I love your cards.
