Well Not being “that guy” lol not at all But this is the original. All the others are remixes. This is the *one* Interesting to me cause, this original is so much better than the remixes imo There is a hell of a lot of tragic story telling w/in the lyrics-this one amplifies the meaning (possible other meanings) of em. “Death” “Imprisonment” “Addiction” Most probable & believed symbolic meanings of this song

Around 2000, this transe style remix of Silence, was such a huge hit on the radio, clubs, ect.! I did not realize this original, more down tempo with Gregorian chants, is so beautiful, I think it's out of the world! With all respect to the remixes, great dj's, mainstream radio, I think this version is a masterpiece!

Claire Danes & Kate Beckinsale to amazing actresses(Which would go on to become way more famous, Danes had "My So Called Life" but would go on to even larger roles as did Kate Beckinsale) that make this script come to life in a way that makes you feel for the characters, as you are watching them and as if you were one of them. For the scarcity of eye candy, distractions, flesh on display, this movies is able to hold your attention and emotions for the duration without have to resort to common tricks. Ground breaking no but as great film with believable characters and events, it far succeeds the humble roots it grows from. The music/soundtrack on top of all of it adds euphoria for you ears to blend with visuals and spoken lines. Along with all that is not said but felt from this fine soundtrack.
