As someone who played a lot of Camille support and Sylas support, the issue is Riot decides to keep increasing damage on all champions and so a rune like "Hail of blades" is abusing this power imbalance to give a strong advantage for the early game which allows for snowballing. If you fail you fail hard but you when harder. In extremely low elo it's hard to win games because your team doesn't know what objectives to take so you have to solo take towers. And in low bronze you can go 20/0 on Camille and still lose the game because you ping for help to push the wave in and take tower but your teammates will ignore and back even with all enemies on death timers. It's elo hell

As a jungler I’m sick of supports being able to just waltz into my jungle and 100 to 0 me. They don’t need to farm or sequence camps, they can do what the jungler does but with less responsibility. They can have fun and perma fight without worrying about anything else. It’s gross.

Yeah, it basically allows you to play 50% of mages, 70% of tanks and half of the bruisers as second junglers who get loads of gold for doing the basics of laning like trading whilst still getting loads of gold from ganking. Its basically just a much easier and more forgiving version of jungling at this point.

The only fun we had as support you know, what do u expect? i just click around botlane afk waiting to desengage or a unlikely gank of our jungle with tempo? i have the same feeling when the enemy botlane is overextend in the lane without summoners and my jungle is ganking a malphite top. You only have fun if u play that way(agressive supports) what fun do u have playing soraka, milio, janna? of course i will play camille support i want to enjoy the game not just being an ambulance for my low iq adc playing ezreal and missing all the Q's. Really what do u except? why the support cant have fun? as support you cant carry in the late game if u mid, adc, top, jg are braindead you will lose 100%, so yes let me have fun in the early at least

You can find similar success by playing Sylas support. Go hail of blades and go in level 1 with your E if your adc is extremely strong like a Draven. If not then simply go in level 2 with a E W. Your hail of blades will proc your passive so quickly if your adc follows up it's easy to dominate.

Been playing lethality shaco support into her. leaving boxes near commonly used walls as well as on your ad or yourself works quite well against her. AP shaco is.. alright, but feel like ad is reliable damage and more easily targetted than hoping players are dumb and just stroll into your boxes.. and then don't hit them or ignore them.

Its the fact that top-champs are generally geared towards beeing great at everything, tankiness, damage and self-heal. Mobility is the most common issue for them. All of them would dominate bot (the way the dominate mid and late game) if it was not for the lack of gold in the bot lane; and these champs are too gold-hungry to work there. Seems Camille works out anyway; and im sure there will some other stat-sticks that would work fine as support too. But they will all be very snowball heavy, because once you stack your support item you are stunted for gold. (Ie after the first item.)

I mean there is nothing wrong with 20% max hp aka 170/180shield lvl 2/3, which is stronger than aftershock. In toplane this early don't have dmg to break it anyway (specially if stooned by e), in botlane you can fully untilise shield, since even mages deal most dmg from aa earlygame. Most of supports/adc are immobile. Maybe just revert one of 7 buffs she recived ? 13.15 her base r dmg went up by 15. That's alone make aa+q+(3hob)+q2 deal extra 90 dmg.

definitely a support problem, idk whos fucking idea is it that the role that doesn't cs still gets to have gold for free AND a half item for free plus you still get to have 2 sweepers and wards from your item. Actually makes no fucking sense to me. Like I get that back in the early days of league (pre season 5) support was like a glorified ward bot but they buffed the role until it became very important and popular. And then in the last few seasons riot just went out of their mind and now they are completely out of control. Imo this fundamentally breaks league when you no longer have to go for things on the map to get resources. Supports don't have to cs and they will still get to 2 items + supp item pretty much on the same time as laners. It doesn't make any sense to me. And as someone said it's funny cuz supp camille fixes all of camille's problems. She has waveclear problems, now u dont have to cs. She wants to roam around the map and start fights, now u can ditch lane and go do that. And u get rewarded with free gold and a free item for this. Actually disgusting game design. Camille having waveclear problems is supposed to be part of what balances her, theres quite a few champs like this. So it fundamentally breaks the game when u can bypass this by going support. and imo supports should still be true to their role's name, "support", as in there is no situation where they should not be playing for others on their team. It's funny cuz camille support was already playable before this in niche situations. the engage u have is actually more versatile than things like nautilus many times. but at least before u would have much less power and u dont auto win duels for no reason. actually if u think about it the engage is one of the longest in the game, it's comparable to jarvan dash ult. same shit... except the jarvan needs to be perma farming and high level to not be useless, not camille, just buy ur fucking supp item

aphelios has sniper+boomerangs, used r, flash and ghost if i had to guess, he put turret down, ghost+flashed to create space and used the range advantage + auto resets sniper marks give (marks are applied by turret) to stuff her with spinners and i guess r was used with sniper for 1 more mark also, fleet healing came in clutch

ADC are most of the time apes. This game for example 4/1 Kalista losing 1v1 to 0/3 Aphelios HoB Camille should not be allowed. Her kit is OP early in top, guess it makes sense she's broken as supp. CC and fat shield

They just design the supports too weak. They don't have enough mobilty/cc/dmg like all the other modern champs. That's why you see ap cc bots like lux, zyra, swain, brand all the time, because they do tons of dmg and have CC. Compare braums shield to pantheons, its literally inferior in every way, compare their stuns, same thing. Look at the newer supports, milio, renata, rell, how often do you see them compared to the 3 newest or reworked champs in any other position. Their design philosophy for support is to pretend it's 2013. The champs with self heal, heal way more than the healing supports even when they are buying items to boost healing, but not aatrox, yi and 10 others, they buy dmg and still heal more. Modern champ design is basically, multiple dashes that do obscene dmg, CC, non existent cooldowns, often no resource, 4 passives, invulnerability that also does dmg, with some ridiculous ult that gives you free kills. Supports don't get to have any of this. Of course champs from other roles are better at support, they are just flat out better, they can do almost everything a support does, only better, and a ton of things supports can't do. Pyke is a great example, great champ, but they gimped him by not letting him build any health. So by 20 minutes everything one shots him, because he's support, and they make them weak on purpose. I'm glad camille support is taking over, it puts the issue in the spotlight.

I agree that comparing Camille with something like Yone will make Camille look he has an average kit. But tbh, it's completly o, the Yasuo era introduce way too many mechanix. She can slow, knock up 1 target, can prison 1 target, can get kick up the reest of the team too, she heals, she shield, she make an insane true damage, shee jump twice, she retest auto... And the we have champs like Sett, Q = reset auto, gain miserable sprint for 1 sec, if he doesnt land E perfectly he doesnt stun, hes W gain sheld, deflect damagee. The differeence between the kit from meta champs against not meta are just unbeliveable. I mean, Hweit Q = 4 pages hability, Malphite: Donut
