The point of this scene, is that there are christian jordanians in the GID or mokhabarat. But the point is that to be an agent kn this establishment, your only relegion and faith is the establishment. Before you get accepted they do background checks and make sure you are not religious in order to assure loyalty.

Mark Strong is great in playing with an Arabic accent, he plays a character that is fluent in English but with a slight Arabic accent..

I love how uncomfortable Ferris is here. Was Hani testing him or toying with him? At some point Hani worked out Ferris created Sadiki. I think he probably worked it out right here. With how shifty Ferris is acting.

@RWT683 Ahh, I know what you mean. But in this case, it might be deliberate too, because his character in this movie, Hani, the jordanian intelligence chief, does not have english as his native language. The actor do, but his character don't.

@RWT683 Totally true!!! I am an English teacher and the students always say it correctly whereas Americans don't.

@RWT683 That depends. I'm Norwegian, and fairly competent in English, and I've learned it in school for like 8 years, but it's not my native language, and sometimes when I speak english with people, I catch my self doing mistakes like saying "If I was you".
