it's a good thing these scene was deleted because andy is not supposed to care about her outfits yet. Not until the belt scene with miranda's speech about her cerulian sweat.

True but I think she was a little self conscious because she was telling her boyfriend about the clothes the other girls were wearing. I think for the most part she didn't give a hoot about how her clothes looked but for a split second, she might've thought back to those other girls and thought how their outfits looked compared to hers.

I think they were drawing it from the book, in which she was trying for months to try make her run down the mill clothes look like something that belongs in the Runway office.

Ok, the part in which Andy seems distressed about her looks before she leaves her home is not really fitting, because it's too early in the story for her to "care about what she puts in her back". Thankfully it was deleted. But the scene in which Nigel says his opinion "clearly means nothing" is not only accurate (particularly considering the fact that, in the end, his position in the new James Holt company was not spared in favor of Miranda's interests), it's also REALLY funny! He saying "NO! =O" when he first sees that Andy was hired is priceless! Should have made the final cut for sure!

Actually it's a fitting scene since the night before she's complaining to Nate that "I have nothing to wear". And then he says you don't need a Ball Gown to attend phone calls. To which she says she might.

Acho que a cena do Nigel foi cortada porque meio que adiantaria aos olhos do espectador o discurso negativo de Miranda sobre a roupa de Andy, a ausência dessa cena tornou o esculacho/aula que Andy recebeu de Miranda ainda mais impactante, pois se essa cena fosse ao filme, meio que o público esperaria (e ja estaria ciente) da catástrofe fashion que Andy estava usando, logo o discurso posterior da Miranda não seria tão icônico assim, pois ela estaria repetindo o que Nigel já havia dito.
