Great vid. To maintain the height:width ratio of the picture when changing the size, hold down the SHIFT key when you adjust the size with your mouse.

Also you could just lasso the image, copy it, then paste it onto another layer then delete the first layer ;)

Thank you for this tutorial. Is there a way to delete the foreground on an image? Example: I purchased a floral image with an image of a dry drycleaning tag on top. I love the floral image but don't care for the tag text and lines. I will only use this for myself - no sharing or selling - so is there a way to remove the ugly black text? Thanks very much.

Can any help mere here. I have tryed follow this guide but i cant get it to do what i need it to. I am playing a program named Utherverse or Red light center and are trying to create some pictures without any background at all. But when i have tryied and delete the background and set the picture in the game then the background is still there but white. Do any have any idea how i fix this please.?

You could just hold shift and then make it smaller. Then it won't stretch

May I suggest that you need to learn the program better to become completely proficient in it before making videos to teach others. For one thing, when sizing the eagle, hold down the shift key while moving the corner points and the image will stay in the same configuration no matter how much moving you do. Second, there is a little handle to the lower right of the selected image that you can grab to move an image without the worry of resizing, turning, etc. But that was a happy mistake turning the eagle a bit - that one turned out very well. I don't mean to offend, just help. Thank you for the video.
