This Film was made while I was the Chairperson of the Delhi Judicial Academy during 2009-2011. It focuses on its history and the range of training programmes conducted for judicial officers in Delhi. It was fun and education at the same time - specially for me! :)

+Amit Singh Thanks for your suggestion but we chose the earlier version consciously as we were tracing Constitutional history when we used the Preamble and it was purposely shown as archival document and not a fresh one. Thanks all the same for your interest in the film and your comment.

I like the idea of an academy. Appointment of judges should be made on the basis of their performance at the academy as opposed to recommendations made by politicians and the collegium system. For example: Your appointment as a Judge at the High Court should mean you have been awarded a competency certificate by the academy that makes you eligible to perform at the High Court. That your competency has been tested in ways without any political / collegiate interference.

Ma'am don't you think India failed in providing justice to its subject. Kindly have a look on district courts of other state. Even state government had not emplemented many provisions which legislation had expected for smooth access of justice. For example sec 25A crpc and many more r there. If bar is ineligible to frame good case then there is no need to educate bench.
