I remember when i was a kid and my teacher was teaching us geography, she told us a cool fact about NE, that in NE there is no dowry system and girls enjoy equal rights. I was so amused by this fact as it would be such a heavenly place to live. Since then i wanted to visit NE and used to wish that i was a north eastern. As soon as i get the job and becomes financially independent i would travel to NE and south of India since i love nature. I never knew back then that NE people are being discriminated by other indians. But i really feel NE people are more humble and sweet. Plz don't feel discriminated bcuz of few ignorant people of the country. NE is an important part of India and i believe NE people would do better if indian govt would focus to develop this part of the country too. Love from a delhite ❤❤

To all my fellow indians, Pls dont think that all the people of other states of india same. The question is when will the discrimination end?Ppl discriminate others on the basis of colour, caste, gender, religion, physical features,status, wealth and region also. The informed ppl just try to stop all at once. We shud try to curb them one by one. And i believe one day we will be able to. The thing is there will always be a difference between educated literates and uneducated literate. It's like majority of ppl like to make fun of others because they are very insecure or maybe they want to prove it to their own self that they r important. Educated ppl know that the world is diverse. Our country is. Every human is unique. If we start grouping ppl on the basis of one or the other quality, ethnicity etc then we will be making as many grps as the number of ppl or probably more. Next time if u see any person trying to belittle you....think of them as stupids seeking self validation. You all are beautiful. I admire the north eastern open mindness, education etc. Some ppl say about eating habits of north easterners. I don't know but even if it is true that some tribes eat sth...u just can't generalise. I personally feel those ppl are ahead in the race of survival of fittest😅. They have accepted that they can make use of nature to survive while we start discussing what one shud eat and what not. Just let ppl eat what they want (let's not go into hygiene...becoz everyone wants to be hygienic..and north easterns are no lesser hygienic that u) Who r u to govern them or judge them.( And virus can be found in chicken, pig etc also..so pls dont give excuse of virus). If we want a change to happen, start from urself. I know it's difficult but force urself to respect other humans. It takes time.. i understand. Nobody is perfect, treat others with respect...who knows when time takes a turn. If someone does not know about ur region or culture, don't worry. Plenty of ppl know. Not all need to be good in geography. But if they get to know and still be ignorant then there is a prblm. Not with u but them. Let's be United on the issue of any type of discrimination. P.s. north indians, north east indians, south indians....all are beautiful. I won't say pretty or handsome but beautiful....becoz i (personally) believe beauty is inner quality which is reflected on our face and behaviour. Pls talk about discrimination and social issues with every1. Dont just go by general prejudices. Make urself acquainted with the facts while talking about anything.Make it a point to talk about all this instead of gossips during lunch or tea time. Don't fight. Give polite opinions. U don't have to agree but listen and take opinions. Analyse both pros and cons and make a better opinion. Spread awareness not by posters but during daily chats..ppl may not listen. Take their opinion but don't force them and most importantly don't forget to give urs politely. If u talk politely..maybe ppl analyse later. Don't go by media and if u want to, then see both views- positive and negative to understand better. Weigh facts. Facts r important. Take criticism and change urself and ur thinking for better. If you criticise then Criticise others on those things on which they have control so that they can be better. Don't force ur opinions. Don't ignore facts. Analyse. If u see that criticism was true and u need to change ur thinking then change it. Don't take on ego. Change is gradual but u will be happy u were able to do ur part. P.ss Don't bash me for language or opinions. If you don't like. Pls ignore. I m not a preacher. I m Just fed up with the sick prejudices and discrimination. I just wanted to connect with all my indian brothers and sisters and this is only way.No need to like also. No need to lable me as pseudo intellectual or someone who shows fake open mindedness. It is our nation. From next time let's collectively talk about these important things instead of gossips or WhatsApp forwards😊 Love from an indian
