Here's a tip to all foreigners ... whenever in an unwanted situation with some aggressive scammer/dealer/trader/seller ... always be firm and don't be afraid to be rude... and if you feel threatened in any way... threaten to call 100 (One Hundred) .. 100 is all India police/emergency number. Great blogs Chris. I like the 'human touch' while dealing with local people. Giving little extra money to ricksha driver and asking to buy good food for the family was nice human touch! Travelling in foreign country can be facing troubles like cancelled flights, unfriendly taxi service, unexpected overbooked accommodation, haggling sales stall people etc. But some times you get reward by getting helping hand by unknown people, finding ancient historic places, good food and learning experience. Chris seams to be enjoying all of this.
