Hi Everyone!!! Ive been sitting on this recipe for a minute & wish I hadnt. Its SOOOOOO good! in fact , I've already made 3 loaves of it. What is it? Amish Cinnamon Bread!! It's so easy to make & really I had everything in the pantry except buttermilk. Check the comments on how to make buttermilk if you don't have it. You are gonna love this recipe.

I use apple cider vinegar for desserts, and balsamic vinegar if the bread is for a savory dish. Mostly though, just white. If you want to add some punch to it, after the milk curdles, stir in a teaspoon of plain yogurt. Voila.

Yum! Both my husband and I grew up in different parts of PA which have large Amish communities. My mom was given Amish Friendship bread starters quite often. This is such an easy, but tasty looking version to make without needing that starter! 👍🏻

They say what's left over after making butter is buttermilk..... But it looks like water.... Buttermilk from the store looks like milk.... I prefer buttermilk from the grocery store
