For this cook, we fired up our new Stumps Smoker. This thing is a machine!! We chose to do a classic recipe for this video, Baby Back Ribs! We love some ribs and these turned out amazing! We hope you give this recipe a try!
• 1 Rack of Baby Back Ribs
• 2 TSP of All Purpose Rub
• 2 TSP of BBQ Rub
• 2 TBSP Brown Sugar
• 2 TBSP of Rib Candy or Honey
• 2 TBSP of Squeeze Butter
For this cook, we ran our pit between 265-275 degrees. We used a couple apple and pecan wood chunks for the smoke. While your pit is coming up to temperature, prep your ribs. Remove the membrane and any excess fat. Season with both the AP and BBQ Rub and let them sweat in for 30 mins. Place the ribs on the smoker for two hours. Spritz after one hour with apple juice. After 2 hours I removed the ribs and wrapped them in foil, meat side down on top of the Brown sugar, Rib Candy and butter. Place back on the smoker for one hour or until the ribs hit 205 degrees. Once temp is hit, remove from foil and sauce.
Place back on the smoker for 30 minutes. Remove and enjoy!
