She's 106! I've read that when cataract's have gone to far, it will not improve your vision. As for dentures... She seems to be doing just fine, just enjoy watching her cook, she seems to enjoy eating it lol

Just from my view point...money and fancy huts can never replace the love that is shown here.. It does not appear as if Granny or her family are unhappy in any way about the very natural surroundings and lack of modern living and cooking things....yes things because in reality most of us have things and lots of them..however based on what I am seeing in these videos...I would value this time with my ancestors and be taught how to do something other than text..talk..send unimportant messages to unimportant people. Simplicity is of no value if you cannot learn from it...and all the modern things are just making us stupid and lazy. I value this woman and obviously her whole village does as well.

I think it's lovely that Granny has a sense of purpose wth her family and friends around her. It's also clear that she is the real Matriarch in the village! In the West the elderly are neglected and often don't see their families for weeks or months. They're put in care homes and often left alone. Granny seems content and happy - she also deserves a Michelin Star for her recipes!😀

some people are just so sad and think that having a big apartment is the answer to everything. I'm sure this man takes care of his grandmother very well. I live in NYC in a fairly nice apartment and whenever I go home to my native country there is no greater feeling than to cook like how this granny does. to live so close to nature. I wish NYC was like this so that everyone could enjoy the true pleasures in life.....

Pls dont waste the water from cooked vegetables, you loose lots of vitamins and essetial micronutrients, if at all drain it and can be used as stock or for various othr soup receipes. But for that granma is cute and wish a happy healthy life gramma.

I steam cook in electric cooker, fill the cooker with two glasses of water and keep the bowl with vegitables in the that water and start cooking , i think same can be done with pressure cooker, or ordinary boiling
