Oh these look delish . Love the cheese . Must taste really good . Yes we generally use ounces or pounds here . I don’t know the conversions for grams ! But I will Iook it up . Easy enough to do ….❤ Thanks . Mouth watering goodness . I love scones .

Cor when I saw those cheese scones you made yesterday you made me feel hungry because Cheesy scones are my favourites. So we made a batch this morning. You can’t believe how much cheese we put in the scones and grate cheese on the top too. You quickly made them no nonsense . Years ago I wanted a Kenwood Chef food mixer, but they were £250 years ago. Well, Aldi sold the equivalent last year for only £50 so we bought one, it has two like paddles in that you make the pastry with in no time . A lot of people over knead the scones, but you can kill the dough like that. We simply make a scone round , and make 8 indents to make 8 scones . That way they are as light as anything and not drop dead’s. With liking a lot of cheese 🧀 in mine I source the cheapest good quality cheese. Chester Le Street Farm Foods have 350 grams of mature Cheddar for £1:79 , so we bought 6 bars as it’s on Special Offer. I put cheese in almost everything. The butter there is only £1:29 so we bought 2 lb. We buy all sizes eggs from Marks & Spencer or Lidle. £2:30 dozen . We bought 2 large bags of Self Raising Flour for 40 pence for 2 on Special Offer . So that cuts down on the overall Cost of making them. I had two warm scones this morning , they say don’t eat warm scones for your digestions sake , but I don’t care that’s how I like them . Two days and a batch of cheese scones are gone in our home. I bet you and the family enjoyed those yummy scones Sheila !
