Filling Ingredients:
Ground chicken - 200g
Chopped spring onion - 40g
Finely chopped ginger and garlic - 1 tbsp
Chopped celery leaves - 30g
Soy sauce - 1/2 tbsp
Sesame oil - 1/2 tbsp
White pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Soup Ingredients:
Chicken stock - 1.5 liter
Garlic clove - 4 pieces
Sliced ginger - 3 pieces
Spring onion stem - 3 pieces
Celery stalk - 2 pieces
Salt to taste
Black pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
Soy sauce - 1/2 tsp
Bok choy - 5-6 pieces

I made this chicken wanton recipe along with the homemade broth and it was pretty good. I was skeptical that the broth would be so flavorful from something so simple, but it was. I used powdered chicken stock and I did add a bit to the recipe (some fish sauce, little more soy sauce, hoisin sauce), because I like my wantons more aggressively seasoned and some noodles. I am extremely picky with food, but I didn’t mind the spring onion, garlic or ginger inside the filling; usually I pick these things out. Picky eater tip: Make sure to dice the spring onion, garlic and ginger so small that the texture can not be felt. Your little ones will eat it.
