This Chinese Biryani recipe is a must-try for food lovers who enjoy experimenting with flavors. Serve it with raita or enjoy it on its own-it’s a complete meal that’s sure to impress!
📌 *Ingredients:*
2 cups basmati rice (soaked for 30 minutes)
300g chicken (boneless, cut into small pieces)
2 eggs (beaten)
1 cup mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, capsicum)
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp chili sauce
1 tsp vinegar
1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
1/2 tsp black pepper powder
1/2 tsp red chili flakes
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
Salt to taste
4 tbsp oil
Spring onions and fresh coriander (for garnish)
📌 *Instructions:*
1. Boil the soaked rice with a pinch of salt until 80% cooked. Drain and set aside.
2. Heat oil in a pan, scramble the eggs, and set them aside.
3. In the same pan, add ginger-garlic paste and sauté until fragrant. Add chicken and cook until tender.
4. Stir in soy sauce, chili sauce, vinegar, and spices (black pepper, chili flakes, turmeric, and salt). Mix well.
5. Add the mixed vegetables and cook until slightly tender but still crunchy.
6. Layer the cooked rice over the chicken and vegetable mixture. Top with scrambled eggs.
7. Cover and steam on low heat for 10 minutes to let the flavors blend.
8. Garnish with spring onions and fresh coriander. Serve hot and enjoy!
