And this only has downside for US and it's corporations. Because the gap created by leaving create opportunities for Russians to start and grow their own counterparts. And it'll be near impossible for US companies to come back to resume their Operations, not to mention the revenue losses.
@johanhirte9661
@johanhirte9661 2 жыл бұрын
@@equuleus9970 It is way more symbolic and the issue for Russia will be to import high tech parts as chips and other advanced products they are not capable of making them self. Basically the attempt to build a counter Aviation industry is dead for example. Now the impact is limited because of the short time. But 2-5 years from now the Russian economy which was not competitive before won’t be competitive at all. Also it will be heavily reliant on China. If China is angry about anything then Russia is finished. Just this year the impact will be 10% of the Russians GDP with the tendency of even more decline.

@Betta Warrior Yes and no? Having the right people in government means it will be easier for you to feed yourself and your family because you aren't overly taxed, you're given a fair salary for the job you do, the farmers have enough supplies to properly grow food, and the vendors aren't selling the food at a ridiculously high price. Having the wrong people in government means the taxes are too high but they're being used to fill their own pockets, the farmers can't produce as much food as they could, and then it ends up very expensive at the market.

They just paid a huge amount of money to take over the business that was already in place. They better have experience running similar businesses or they won't last long. And why I think so? Because if they knew how to open/operate a business like that, they would have done it a very long time ago. It's not rocket science.

@@linion997 if you cant separate the leader of the country from the people of the country, you don’t understand. Russia is the largest nation, theres so many ethnicities and races that you can’t even count them on both your hands. There’s Russians who look of Asian descent, but they have remained in eastern Russian for hundreds of years. You see Putin, an angry, powerful man who is stained by his own idea of pride and longevity. He wants to be in history books, worshipped for expanding the country and toppling those who “betray” him. His people stand against this, to the majority. Russian soldiers have forfeited so much in this war, been documented crying and weeping for peace instead of standing up for the regime Putin has laid down in place. We all need to remember there’s more to Russia than their sad leader.

Interesting how history seems be going the opposite direction here, compared to Latin American countries where local businesses get wiped out by this fast food giant brands like McDonalds, KFC, Burger King, Starbucks, etc. I remember there was a local hamburger place, it was great but then the TLCAN came in and it ruined things for everyone that worked there. The McDonalds and Bkings came and they couldn't compete with their prices. Support local businesses and try to avoid as much as possible the multinational brands.

I know exactly what you mean. We used to have this local chicken shop and pizza place that served amazing fried chicken and pizza that was completely obliterated by McDonald's, KFC, and Pizza Hut during the late 90s.
