@@equuleus9970 It is way more symbolic and the issue for Russia will be to import high tech parts as chips and other advanced products they are not capable of making them self. Basically the attempt to build a counter Aviation industry is dead for example. Now the impact is limited because of the short time. But 2-5 years from now the Russian economy which was not competitive before won’t be competitive at all. Also it will be heavily reliant on China. If China is angry about anything then Russia is finished. Just this year the impact will be 10% of the Russians GDP with the tendency of even more decline.

We used to have this local chicken shop and pizza place that served amazing fried chicken and pizza that was completely obliterated by McDonald's, KFC, and Pizza Hut during the late 90s. I still remember how tasty the food was. Not greasy at all unlike anything coming from USA. Looking back I really feel bad for these local chains and their employees.
