Great video guys! We had horse in Verona this summer and indeed it tastes delicious! So we'd definitely try that burger out if we visit Ljubljiana! Thank you for the suggestions!

6:56 Ajdovi žganci (buckwheat porridge) are very healthy side dish. On their own nothing special. But they are not meant to be eaten alone. You should mix it with that Jota (I think) you have.

Just found you guys, because I'm curious about Ljubljana. The fact that you only have 415 subs is crazy. Well made! Going to dive into your other vids now, and hoping for more in the future.

Hot horse is nice. But if you have time, I would rather recommend traditional horse stake in Ljubljana. 😋😋😋

Man you like horse burger that is about 4 years after it fell off lol... That place used to be small bunk kitchen and was the best in Slovenia by far of any burger not just horse... Than they renovated moved from made on spot by 1 person to basically a line where someone does 1 thing and the other does another and it just isn't the same... So the fact that you like it in current state kind of makes me happy and sad at the same time.

In Slovenia beekeeping is kind of a national sport. Slovenia has the most beekeepers per capita in Europe and probably in the world (1 in every 200 people is a beekeeper). Fun fact, Slovenian language has two different forms of the verb "to die". One is used for people and the other for the animals, except for bees. We use the "human" form for bees.
