It's a very small, safe and easy capital to wander around. The old town streets are pedestrian-only so its very relaxing to stroll and admire this charming city.

Oh don't be put off by Metelkova. It's not dodgy at all. I have dozens and dozens of nights' experience. Some great conversations with some homeless guys as well as many regular students and tourists. And I'm also a foreigner.
