Dude, you're by far the funniest audio programmer on internet. Great tutorial!

OMG SAM!!!!! Where would I be without you in my life??? I have watched all of your tutorials and slowly gained confidence in working with max since the start of my uni course, in my third year now and working on a project converting motion into sound using a Kinect sensor. I have JUST started to use processing and freaked out because of it being new and scary but here you are again!! I cannot WAIT to learn more and you are my favourite tutorial guy so already i feel less freaked out. It seems everytime I wanna learn something new there you pop up reading my mind and making it easy!!! WOOOOOO GO SAM!

Thank Zeus you're back. The streets were cold and harsh. Devoid of light and joy, until a hero returned. Armed with brilliance and snark he laid a thousand lines upon the unwashed masses, bringing tears of joy to wash away the horror of his absence.

huge thanks for the new tutorial - i was beginning to worry that you'd stopped making this brilliant series. Personally, I would love to see more of these looking into Jitter/ opengl/ shaders/ etc.

dude837 How about audio analysis and having different frequency ranges output control data for control over audio reactive visuals? Great to see the Delicious Tuts back. :)

This is amazing. I didn't know you could hook up other applications to Processing. This gives me lots of ideas that I will never put into practice. :P

hello...awesome patch... how can we use different variables from max msp to processing? through the same port maybe using a different message (ex. /color)?
@dude8378 жыл бұрын
Exactly! That is exactly how you would do it.

Great .I used to do this between MAX6 and VVVV. didn't knew about Processing udp library.Thanks

I am following all of the above steps but processing is not picking up the connection with Max. Is there anything within the Max patch that I have to do other than add udpsend/localhost/port that will connect it up with processing. I feel that I'm just missing a very basic step

Did you solve it? I'm also having trouble. It seems like no data is being passed into the setAmp() method.

Amazing! I've just started few days ago to study processing, i really like it, it would be cool to see a way to run sketches into max if this exists, or maybe use code made in processing into max....It would be really cool thing! =) Thanks for your tuts man!! Great works

Can recursion be done with JavaScript and passed on to Jitter so you can avoid using Processing?
@dude83710 жыл бұрын
Yes definitely, if you really hate processing. You can even create and manage Jitter objects directly in JS.

Why aren't you a fan of Java? Do you favor another object-oriented language?
