But…BUT…I just got out the sample of Love Don’t Be Shy and sprayed it. It’s SO good!!! Killian prices have increased recently, so I’m happy to look into the dupe. I’m here for all the gourmands. I love them! I love orange citrus, not wild about lemon😊 I have three Demeter fragrances…..Vanilla ice cream, Strawberry, and marshmallow. I have Ex Idolo Love and Crime. At the time, it was more accessible and affordable than Lira. I haven't tried it out in hot weather. Mostly I wear it in that fall transition season. Of the Zara, Lira, and Bake - I love the opening of Lira the best and the drydown on Bake.. why does that always happen? Can't wait to hear your review of Love & Crime. I get a lot more orange and cocoa in L&C - it's like an orange poundcake with a cocoa powder finish vs. Lira's lemon poundcake caramel swirl. L&C has much better performance in all important ways.

I can’t believe summer is almost over (school starts back in a couple weeks, and I homeschool but I still usually start around that time myself)! That's a great list, Bake sounds amazing. For my summer gourmand this year it is definitely Thierry Mugler Innocent, it's often overlooked but it has amazing citrus in the opening, among the best I have experienced and I also like the tonka sweetness in the drydown, I've had it forever, never got tired of it. It was in production for years but it seems no longer🥲

Dua is another house that I have tried so much to like but cant. I received Pistachio Gelato and Creamy Cocquito in June after their Father's Day Sale and I just sold them both on Mecari. I just got the Julianna's Perfume version of Love Don't Be Shy. It's fantastic! I have travel size of Tribeca from microperfumes. I don't love it but I don't hate it. It smells like cardboard box to me lmao I love sweet but lord 71 is sooooo sweet. I am glad I didn't take it back though, it's good for layering to sweeten up. I'll definitely layer 62 & 71, thanks for what idea!

I’m glad to hear you like Bake - I’ll have to try it now as everyone I trust loves it too. I’m enjoying Bois Farine (L’Artisan Parfumeur) as my July gourmand as it’s very cool here right now and it smells of warm flour - edible but isn’t sweet. Btw Candy floss = cotton candy in the UK where the Perfume Society is based I think 😊

🤜🤛🍂 Totally ready for fall (my fave season) and all the pumpkin spice, color changes and bonfires 😄 I've put myself in no buy jail- again.... lol but I did manage to finally try Dua during their most recent sale. I should have those next week and interested to know if they'll need to macerate for awhile before use. I figure if it only takes a couple months to get the same fragrance as some of the discontinued gems they dupe, I'll be a VERY happy lady. Would love to know what you enjoyed from Dua. I've had Fire at Will on my wishlist for a while and you're the first to mention fizziness. I'm intrigued. It just got bumped up higher on the list... will need to try it soon.

Yes, girl! I love a good fall fire and Pumpkin Latte! 🎃 🔥 💯 I've sold most of my Dua collection but still have Coconut Gelato, Vanilla Lemon Gelato, Cotton Candy de Dua, and a few others (may have butchered the names here!). I have a few others including one called Night in the Desert which is a dupe for Sahara Noir. Really good! 👌💯

👊 I definitely love fall scents but not in a rush to get there. Once it's cold where I live, it stays cold until May. I have been a little bummed and uninspired about my summer frags. Some of my favorite warm weather scents (all Dua OGs) went bad despite being stored properly.

I had some really nice summer staples that were fruity floral, fruity and tropical where the vanilla note disappeared and smells off. I've tried layering them with other basic vanillas but it just reminds me of what I lost vs enhancing the scent.

🤘🤘❤ Already bought a few for Fall and Winter during the FragranceBuy Canada Day sale. But I'm still loving Summer! I was actually wondering about wearing Lira in the Summer. Love Don't Be Shy works nicely as well. Wore the banana one from Comptoir Sud Pacific yesterday and loved it. La Nuit Trésor Musc Diamant is sweet vanilla and raspberry and feels a little bit gourmand in Summer. Tried Mont Blanc Signature Absolue this week. It's too floral to be a gourmand but has a very nice vanilla in it. I would totally wear it to go out on a nice Summer night (or day).😍

Amo Ferragamo is one of my favorite citrus vanillas! The citrus isn't literal orange, its an orangey liquor not with rhubarb, so its orangey liquor with tartness then yummy vanilla! Its the only one that works in high heat because of the tart juiciness

This has got to be the coldest winter we have ever had in recent years☃️☃️🥶🥶. In spring I will be wearing my gourmands like Lira, Panettone, Cafe Cabanel, La Danza and Yum😋😋. I'm actually not looking forward to fall fragrances, but I think that's only because I am not looking forward to fall because my teenage son is already complaining so much about back to school! I love cool-weather fragrances the best, though. For now I think really want Akro Bake, but I probably need to try it, though I have come close to blind-buying it. I need to try Delizia di Marshmallow, too. I do love LDBS for summer, also- it's a strictly summer scent for me. Other gourmands I love right now (coconut notes) are Luna Dulcius, and I'm also loving the new Sol de Janiero, Rio Radiance.
