Baked a double batch last night - I used canned organic pumpkin puree as I felt the filling (used pumpkin spice) and the topping (used a molasses dark brown sugar) were the “highlight” of this bake. The process for the sticky buns worked like a charm. Not sure if I cooked the topping enough (was afraid I would overcook it), but the result was rather nice, just slightly dripping caramel topping. Sticky buns - what a sticky, sweet sugary overload! The buns are soft with a nice chew to them, the saucy caramel and those toasted pumpkin seeds!! Perfect combination of flavor and texture. (#376) Photos have been posted. As ever, many thanks to Charlie for this fantastic recipe!

Love this - and that it uses the similar technique to your Sticky Pecan Buns makes it even better! The pumpkin seeds will add a nice unique nutty flavor. Will pick up some sugar pumpkins for this bake and the Beautiful Pumpkin Bread recipe. Thank you for these holiday bakes.

Literally putting the pumkin shaped bread in the oven, and I am not even a pumpkin kind of person 😂 thank you for awesome recipes and wealth of knowledge. ⭐️ Edit: The bread turned out amazing and was gone within 20 mins of cooling down 😆 I can't believe how simple it was to make with wonderful pumpkin flavour coming through. Now on to sticky buns 👍🏼

Who doesn't like Sticky Buns and boy, these sure were sticky - well at least the sauce was - brushing the shaped log with melted butter really helped as the buns literally pulled apart with no effort! Greetings, all! Charlie is now at 231K subscribers - Let's keep spreading the word about his YT channel and get him to 250K subscribers by the end of the year. Please continue to share your bakes with family, friends and colleagues and share photos and your baking experiences with Charlie's recipes on your social media channels (including links to Charlie's YT) - don't forget to ask your followers to subscribe to his channel. Guess what? One of my "very few" IG followers said he would like to "bake bread" and did I have any recommendations for a beginner? We chatted a bit and I shared Charlie's Crusty French Bread recipe. How cool is that??? He has taught us "all things baking" with his fantastic videos: sweet bakes, principles of baking, Baking World Tour (this one has a lot of interesting bakes/entrees, the Spicy empanadas and Khachapuri recipes are always a big hit), bread-making techniques, seasonal bakes (including this new pumpkin recipe) and his always "fun to watch" year-end time-lapse compilation video - I can hardly wait for this year's video! I do not have a cake tin suitable that does not leak. Do you think the result would be as good if you cook the caramel more and add it and the seeds to the buns after they come out of the oven?

I'm on a diet til Christmas Charlie, I can't have any of this nice stuff - I'm not even making parkin (a lovely, traditional oaty ginger cake eaten by us northerners on bonfire night) this year. I'm just here tormenting myself 😄

I put brown sugar, butter and a bit of waterin the pans that I'm not going to bake the rolls in. I put the pans in the oven for a few minutes, then I let the pans cool down and put the rolls into the pans and bake.

How chewy is the caramel? I wanna make this so bad but is it gonna rip my braces out lol
@ChainBaker15 сағат бұрын
Mine was not very chewy at all. You can always cook the caramel a bit less to make it even softer.
