Welcome to our channel! In today's video, we're making a delicious and easy Soya Chunks Manchurian, a perfect vegetarian snack or side dish that's sure to impress. Follow along with our step-by-step guide to create this flavorful dish at home.
Ingredients:
For Soya Chunks:
1 cup soya chunks - 100 grams
3 cups water
1/2 tsp salt
Vinegar - 1 tblspn
Soy Sauce - 3/4th tblspn
For Batter:
Red Chilli Powder - 1 tspn
Jeera Powder - 1 tspn
Black Pepper Powder - 1/4 th tspn
Maida (All Purpose Flour) - 3 tspn
Corn Flour - 2 tspn
For Sauce:
2 tbsp oil
2 tbsp garlic (finely chopped)
1 tbsp ginger (finely chopped)
2 green chilies (finely chopped)
1 tbsp onion (diced)
1 tbsp vinegar
2 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp tomato ketchup
1 tbsp Schezwan Chutney
1 Cup Water
2 tspn cornstarch (mixed with 3 tbsp water)
1/2 Salt (to taste)
1/4 tsp black pepper powder
Spring onions (chopped) (for garnish)
For Frying:
Oil (for deep frying)
Instructions:
Recipe Is As Follows:
Boil soya chunks in salted water along with soy sauce and vinegar, until soft. Drain and squeeze out excess water.
Prepare batter with flour, cornstarch, salt, and pepper and other spices. Coat soya chunks and deep fry until golden brown.
Stir-fry garlic, ginger, green chilies, onions. Add sauces and thicken with cornstarch slurry.
Combine fried soya chunks with the sauce and garnish with spring onions.
