Delicious Thai Cuisine @ Thai Gourmet (Houston,TX)

I came here once a few years ago and it was pretty good. Went back just for the grilled calamari and it was NOT a disappointment. Simplicity at its best. The crispy duck was surprisingly delicious and the Hot & Sour Fisherman's Soup was amazing. If you go on the weekend, expect a long wait.

Maaaaannn, you have never failed. I took my wife here this past weekend and it reminded us of the days we were in Thailand. We had the red curry duck, Garlic stir fried seafood, the coconut soup, grilled chicken, and the crab fried rice. This is my first time finding a place that the duck didn't have aaaannnyyy bones! It made it just that more enjoyable.

Thai Gourmet was my all time favorite Thai restaurant n loved everything I ordered there, whether it was a curry order, noodle dish, fried rice or dessert. My favorites meal orders here were the Panang, Massaman n Red Curries, Pineapple Fried Rice and Chicken Pad Thai (Spice Level: Hot). I was so sad when they closed for good n still think about them often. I went there pretty often and even made a last visit there just a week or so before they retired. The food, service and ambience were all awesome.

i love Thai cuisine! i hit the button to a foodie!! yup same here foodie too! good that you do a Thai food resto food rev, i am sooo into Thai foods! wow that smoky telpeport effect! cute baby! quite a long wait. everything they put out was of Thai theme! wow grilled calamari nice presentation! yey that heart shaped rice is famous in thai cuisine presentation of their rice. no Phad Thai and Tom YUm? yes with rating!
