Agreed! She lost her spouse too soon but used their inheritance to take a chance of her dream of becoming a renown author. (I know its rags to riches but I like the headcanon of him leaving her one last gift to chase her dreams and cover the bills a little bit initially.)

Tricky thing is that the Book of Life must be written while the sim is alive or else it won't work ☹ so Fable would have to complete the aspiration, write the book and THEN have the spouse die which is like, the reverse order of what we want 🤣

I like the idea of her being a writer that is taking care of an elder parent. The elder tells her stories and helps inspire her books. 😊❤

I love Fable and the outfits youve given her! She looks absolutely stunning. I'm not sure if being a single mom fits her, she seems like she really wants to enjoy the social life of the city and have the freedom to go to parties! I do think it would be fun to have another sim in Tiny Town be a single parent. In that case I think a toddler would be fun, because its more challenging than a child or a teen, but not quite as challenging as an infant.

I’m American and had my baby in China last year and the customs surrounding postpartum are really different! We had a newborn nurse with us everyday for 40 days assisting cooking cleaning and childcare while I recovered ❤

I could totally see Fable as a single mom who decided she didn’t want to wait to find a partner but wanted to have a kid, and went the adoption/science baby route instead. She just seems so confident and self-assured, she knows what she wants out of life and so she’s just gonna go for it

I feel like the Scott’s child would have a child who would somewhat want to follow in their parent’s footsteps: Get married, have a great career (writer, in this case), and then have children. Especially since you mentioned when making the party outfits that she’d go out a lot, I think her having a spouse is more suitable and would allow some “lovestruck” opportunities to be used.

I like the idea of her having an elder, she is taking care of, rather than the single mom, as some people in the comments did not like that idea. Or that her hubby died, and that is why she is a single mom, but they were very much in love, and he would have never left her😊 if you want the challenge of the baby.

I think it'd be really cool to have Fable have a dead spouse who can come back and visit as a ghost every now and then, and maybe not start off as a part of the household and maybe join back in later or who knows? \ Maybe Fable can move on to someone who is alive? I also think a toddler or child would be a great age to start off her kid at so we get to see their personality as they grow up, and their goal could maybe be learning to cook an ambrosia to bring their parent back? Just a fun idea I had.

Can i suggest, maybe not make the black female sim the household with a single parent? She has parents perhaps age them up, have one pass and she’s the household with an elder in it? Or if she is the single parent can it be because her partner passed and she’s moving to give her child a simpler life closer to home (i don’t remember if tiny town 2 is still in Henford on Bagley or not). Idk you are always free to do what you like, but as a black person I’d love if she didn’t have to go down the her partner was no good and left her with their child route.

It was a gray fox, and there are also red fox, silver fox, arctic (white) fox, fennec fox (they have very large ears), and others. We had red foxes take up residence under our garage several years ago. The female and the male stayed with their 7 kits all spring and summer and only moved out in early fall. We were able to watch them from the back windows of the house. The mom knew we were watching them, and it was such a delight to see the little ones as they grew, played together, learned from their parents how to hunt and to survive. We never left them food, and we never interfered with them, which is the best way to be with any wildlife. They knew how to care for themselves and their family ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ (one heart for each of the foxes, both mom and dad, plus all seven kits)

Yes! Meal prepped food after a baby is a must in my opinion! I’m 8 weeks away from having my second (and last 😅) and I’m just doing soups/chili/prepped meat like taco and spaghetti. I double my recipes when I make something if it’s easy to freeze. I also do dump and go crockpot meals thank goodness it’s coming up in colder weather here in the US.

@9:55 Yes! Meal trains (when your friends and family stock your freezer) is so helpful when you have a newborn. I also had friends come do cleaning parties too to help out with the basic chores I was falling behind on. Those are great ways for you to help out new parents. I also had some friends come by for short pop ins, just so I could have an uninterrupted shower or short nap. Forever grateful for the people who looked out for me when my twins were born.

Fable’s style really reminds me of Samantha from SATC. I really loving this random rotational gameplay, wouldn’t mind seeing more of this in the future maybe visiting different townie families and focusing on one town at a time. I can’t wait to see what couple’s kid is next for tiny town. TBH more and more of my friends around me are also choosing to not have kids I think it’s definitely more popular among us younger millennials to consider just having our fur babies. It’s the older folks that seem upset at the idea of it. I also agree tho in the evenings the big light is a no and ambient lighting is so much more relaxing, especially because I’m migraine prone. 😂

Hey fellow zebra! 🦓 Yep as soon as she said that she bruises easily and is clumsy (poor proprioception!) I wondered if she could have hEDS / HMS. Deli, it's a collagen defective disorder. Having more flexibility in your joints is generally the most common symptom (leading to sprains, subluxing, dislocation and just pain in general from having less stable joints), its a spectrum tho so how much it affects each person can vary wildly.There's other types of EDS but the h in hEDS stands for hypermobility. Collagen being everywhere, other areas of the body can be affected, gastro symptoms for example can be common.

I just made a new tiny town with legacies with kids from the townies. The Landgraabs, Goths, Calientes, Pancakes, Heckings, and Judith Ward. All of them are very glitchy after I've aged them up

yes! i gave birth almost 2 months ago now and the best gift asides from diapers and wipes were people coming over with cooked food/frozen food. even pre paid visas to use on whatever we decided which turned out to be uber eats on nights we both felt too drained to cook anything. i didn’t like when people came over without food lol.

Regarding lighting in game: I always put the overhead light on auto, then have at least one other light in the room softly lit with a warmer tone. It makes the game feel cozy and I like to think they are using less power.

I'm watching One Tree Hill right now and there's 2 single fathers on the show which is super rare. Loving the method of getting our new set of Tiny Towners, Deli. I'm down whether or not this Sim has a baby as single mom. It can add something to the series, as I saw in James's version, even though the challenge doesn't focus on them. Love how this Sim can pull off the bright colors. I think she should be a widower with a child, so still a single parent but with an even different repensetaion. I reckon she met her husband in the city and they fell for eachother quickly and had a really loving relationship. After she became pregnant he wanted to move them out of the city and into a safe, neighborly community in the suburbs for their child to grow up in, but Fable wanted to stay in the city a bit longer to grow her career first. One night walking home through the city he tried to stop a mugging of an old woman and was stabbed. Fable sitting by his hospital bed hoping he would pull through, went into labour, induced by the stress, and their child was born the same night their father passed. That could be why she decides to move to tiny town for her and their child to have a safe future surrounded by community like her husband always wanted. She could have other quirks because of this like afraid of the dark or she doesn't like to go out at night etc that she has to overcome. Of not suitable for her though, perhaps a different character could have this story line.

In CAS you can create a fox (and a racoon) but since they only have cats & dogs categories (but not foxes and racoons categories which is a bit of a shame) they put foxes into the dogs' category (because in real life foxes and dogs are similar species) and racoons into the cats' category. But foxes and racoons have different "voices" than cats and dogs, in order to tell which is which I guess. So yeah technically in the sims foxes are dogs.

I was a young single mom with to daughters (now I got three children and a lovely man ❤). I know its a stereotype, but I would actually love to see a young single mother, who just needed a fresh start in a lovely neighbourhood, where her child could grow up with a lot of adults who cared for them. ❤ Maybe the mom finds new love there or maybe a sweet bonus grandparent, aunt or uncle or something. 🥰 And I actually think its totally fine going down the stereotype lane and make her young and blonde and a bit naive and sweet 😂😍
