As a south Australian, that little grape spot would make a lovely little winery restaurant! I was immediately reminded of St Hugos winery in the barossa Valley. Deli, I would love to see your take on an Australian winery build there

15:01 I was not excited at this pack, I’m not a horse girl, the ranch lifestyle never seemed appealing to me but I got the pack because of the furniture anyway. But these rescue horses? They got me. Listen, I always thought horses were a bit alien like and nice, but a bit scary. But then my sims game generated an elder rescue horse named Falcon with a little hat on and a mellow personality and I think I love horses now.

I know a lot of people are disappointed about the aspiration but honestly I like that it’s just one level. I get bored of aspirations really quickly so these seem more doable for me

Yeah I totally agree!! Sims 4 is always so ridiculously easy and lacks meaning, and it makes it sooo boring so fast, it's much funnier to have something you actually have to fight a bit to get too, and it makes gameplay much more meaningful and keeps me playing for longer 😅

Cool tidbit about nectar naking in the sims 1: you could enchant a gnome and it would become a gardner, and the gnome would sometime bathe in the nectar making thingy

I laughed so much when you talked about the manucured nails on a farm. A friend of mine is married with a farmer. Her nails are very important for her, so yeah she helps taking care of the animals while having manucured nails. It's not impossible and I find it kind of cute ^^

Having a large farm during winter is awful. It took like three times as long to get farm tasks done because my Sims were near freezing to death constantly trying to be outside in a blizzard. They would have to do like one task and then go inside and warm up before starting another.

Hi in America small ranches under 10 acres are called hobby farms .mine is 6 acres all together. We have cows chickens and rabbits and grow around hay . .I love the little goats and sheep ... They're so cute

I wish they made a little dressage arena add on. Just the same size as the paddock attached to the stables. And it only improves riding, endurance and bond. A round pen would have been great too for horse temperament

i just moved my sim couple out of their apartment in San Myshuno and into this same lot! Ash is starting his career as a doctor (love to imagine him as the small-town doctor, if only Chestnut Ridge had a lot for that), is fiancé Bo Rios is going to be a teacher while she learns to be a cowgirl! I've already got grapes to start making nectar. This house might be too small for all their stuff though! And i think they'll get married at this lot.

While I know there's not a lot in this pack, I'm obsessed with the idea of playing a goth vampire cowboy, hunting vampires or wrangling werewolves on a black horse. I think he'd be a chaotic kinda dude chasing werewolves with a lasso shouting "C'mere, puppy!" I can also imagine him yelling "Hush up, puppy," as he throws a hushpuppy laced with wolfsbane 🤭 Edit: I can just imagine him riling werewolf Sims into a rampage just so he can wrangle 'em again lol

You brave for getting that aggressive horse. 😂 I had to sell my rescue horse. It never got along with my mini sheep due to the aggressive trait. I got her temperament to like 4 or 5 so that helped, but that combined with her needy trait was too much. 😂 I did get her some good skills even though she was an elder. I was able to sell her for 850. 😀

Velvet is a Clydesdale. The long hair draping over the hooves gives it away. And trust me, you don't want to bottle feed small animals. It can hurt your wrist cuz they are quite aggressive with the nipple.

I'm pretty sure Velvet is a Gypsy Vanner, which is a type of draft horse (like a Clydesdale). There are many breeds of draft horses, most of which have the "feathers" (what we call the long hair) over their hooves. But Gypsy Vanners are smaller than Clydesdales, and they have very strict criteria. One of those criteria is that they are black and white 😊

Velvet is a pinto horse they are sometimes referred to as painted horses. I’m a horseback rider and just earlier this year at the stables we just got a Pinto horse I think she’s approximately 10 years old and she’s being trained to be a therapeutic riding horse like the other horses because the riding center is a therapeutic riding center for people who have special needs like me. I ride a mare horse called Pearl she’s a black bay I think she’s about 16 years old and 15hh she’s a talkative lady and sometimes a clutz(trips over feet a lot) but she’s pretty sweet. Awesome video I so excited about horses being in the Sims 4 now I’m going to ask my mom if I can purchase the Horse ranch and I love the Movie National Velvet.
