There's apparantly some good loot and even some Bosses on the lava floors. So you definitely need to check them out delirious! Also, remember the Bull you met at the beginning? He gave a Questline once you defeat the first cart boss, so talk to him again now.

Addition: After you beat the First Cart Boss, you need to speak with the Bull Twice, once near the area you first seen him, and the Second around the area you fight the Third Cart Boss fight which is further around the Yin-Yang Fish Boss Fight.

I.m not sure if this will be much help Delirious, but if you find yourself with sparks to spare, I suggest putting them into mobile spin(the projectile deflecting attack). Not other stances. Because it does better damage than your typical light attack combo if you use it at close range when leveled up, and at max level, using it will naturally give you focus points equal to charging your heavy. (Plus if you de-transform from the rat or anybody, the transformation comes back quicker than if you spend all your health or stamina)

I find it interesting that Bajie transformed in to Raksashi to trick that guy. In the 1986 ver. that’s something Wukong often does for recon and/or to mess around with the enemy before fighting them. In the 1996 & 1998 ver. wukong often have his brothers (bajie & sha wujing) transform with him. How i see it, since wukong isnt here, and the destined one is too young to know such tricks, bajie does it, as if it’s something he learned from Wukong.

Once you beat the boss in the secret area of chapter 5 go back to great Pagoda. If you cleared each secret area you now fight Erlang if u win u get special spear snd transformation and unlock true ending of gsme
