Delius Two Pieces for Small Orchesta

I heard this piece(#1) on classical radio recently and fell in love with it. His music speaks to me in a very simple nostalgic way. At 69, it takes me back to a kinder, simpler time, at least in my mind. This actually brings tears to my eyes.

Delius was unique. Nothing at all like RVW or Walton or Morean. Found his own style and form. Plenty if tecordings but not in concert halls anymore. Unfortunate. Yes, a different world, a different landscape. First fell in love with his music hearing Florida Suite back in 1973.
