This song is from the movie The Orince of Egypt . This is the song that the Hebrews sing they arw praying to Their god to deliver them from the Egyptian people. They have been in Bondage for one thousand years. Finally at the end of the movie God delivers them through Moses. It is right in the Bible in Genesis.

Deliver Us is a the opening song to "The Prince Of Egypt," (DreamWorks version of the Moses story) the song is being sung by the slaves it starts with the men singing about their struggles and suffering and the women are singing Mose's mothers part as she rushes to save her son, this song is being played during the part of the story when the Egyptians were being sent to kill all the newborns.

Prince of Egypt is an animated movie retelling of the first half of the book of Exodus where Moses leads the Jews out of Egypt. It’s a beautiful movie and one of if not my favorite animated movie
