The Deliverance is based off of Latoya Ammons and her family. they moved in a house in Indiana and it was heavily haunted. The kids were possessed and cps was constantly called on her for bruises on the kids. doctors, nurses, social workers, and cops all saw the kids doing crazy stuff while possessed. Zac Bagans bought the house after they moved and made a movie/doc of his crew filming the weird stuff in the house. look up Ammons haunting case on youtube. there's so many videos about this family better than the movie. and alberta wasnt in the real story. fk what lee Daniel's talking about

I enjoyed Deliverance. It was what a GOOD Tyler Perry movie, if this were a Tyler Perry movie, looks like. Yeah. I love this crew and find them so entertaining usually. And I know I’m not as churchy as they are, though my early years were like that. But this? Yeah, the judgement and multiple wrong takes were a little much today. Wow. And then we filled the time that could have been used knowing about the movie and talking about it, instead bouncing from video clip to song to tangential and incorrect definitions of how white people interacted with black people in this movie. It’s not even that Deliverance was the cinematic masterpiece of the year, but it did tell a story that was far deeper than the toe dip on Twitter that seemed to be taken before this episode. Geez.

The funny thing about that movie is, like Kevin, I don't go out of my way to watch horror flicks. But everything in that movie is real. Spiritual warfare is real! Just looking at random clips of Deliverance without any context it looks like a parody but that movie was excellent. I’m not a scary movie person but I’m also not Christian. I never thought I would admit that the one non Black person in a movie with a mostly Black cast carried that movie. But, Glen Close deserves all her roses. Mo’nique and the kids were also great. Andra Day and Omar Epps seemed like caricatures of how Black ppl act, way over done.
