Fryette not only make superb gear but also ultra approachable helpful people. I don't forget what they told me about the artwork on one of their booster pedals .... :)

I moved from an old Super Bass, I played through for decades, to a Deliverance 120. It was a natural choice.

years a go I owned a VHT Deliverance D120, 2 things I realized quick. #1 for a single channel amp there is nothing you can't do with this amp. #2 120watts of Tube amp is ungodly loud OMG!!!! I'm a Marshall fan boy for sure. but the Deliverance is by far a better over all amp. For what it's worth I played my main guitar back then a PRS 513 Rosewood. they fit like a hand in a glove.

Joe is so under-rated. His riffs are so unique. I'm not even a shredder fan and love listening to him play.

Awesome! Can't wait to learn more, and I always love joining you two on the live streams/tequila fests. :) In other news, I recently switched to a Synergy SYN-30 combo, and don't yet have a Fryette module for it. Ultralead? IICP? Deliverance? All three? :)
@Robstafarian5 ай бұрын
If you want Fryette's least compressed/driest sound, then start with the Pittbull Ultralead. Personally, I would (and did) start with the Deliverance and give it plenty of love before deciding whether the Pittbull Ultralead is needed. I tend not to think of the IICP as a Fryette module because it is Steve Fryette's rendition of his friend Randall Smith's design.
@chrissmart97615 ай бұрын
@@RobstafarianThanks Rob. I just got the Friedman DLX module, so I have a lot of Marshall ground covered. :) Interesting about the Ultralead being the least compressed... as a much younger and inexperienced guitarist, I plugged into a Pittbull head in a shop and was freaked out by how revealing it was... i.e. how bad *I* sounded at the time. I just wasn't ready for that. :)

@@chrissmart9761 Even with other marshallesque options available, a Fryette amp's unrelenting clarity makes a similar tone dynamically distinct. Of course, anyone might prefer saturation to that. If you are familiar with the clarity of Bill Lawrence's L-500 humbuckers, then you might get a laugh from my masochistic intention to run a Wilde Pickups L-500XL into my Deliverance module as my primary practice rig (The guitar will have versatile controls with which to tame that beast.); I do not want to give myself anywhere to hide because I need all the feedback possible to know when and how spasms are changing my playing. I may come to regret this decision, but I can only improve.

I was waiting for this head, but my god, why did you make the head so big? It's not 1960 anymore... Couldn't you have made this amplifier with a smaller head size? Its a single channel amp. I know that the Americans have a mania for making everything "big", but this is ridiculous nowadays. It is not surprising that lunchbox amplifiers are popular. I bet half of it is empty inside... you're just wasting the earth's resources and the shipping costs more for the buyers... I built a two-channel Soldano SLO clone, with an effect loop and everything, and it fit a (W)485 x ( D)275 x (H)225 mm headshell...Greetings from Hungary
@trevor45335 ай бұрын
Its the same size as the previous Deliverance, but brands typically do this for aesthetics and uniformity. Assume its sitting on top of a Fryette cab, its the same width. Same goes for Marshalls, Splawns, Friedmans etc.

You have lost the Rock and Roll spirit. Bigger is better. Louder is better. Leopard print is better.
@ericmacewen62325 ай бұрын
As someone who owned a Deliverance 60, the headcab is the right size. The transformers Fryette used are very robust and require some clearance. As do the KT-88s. And just because it’s single channel doesn’t mean it doesn’t need the space. It’s really not that much bigger than a Marshall. Probably the same size as a JMP to be honest.
