Getting a large vehicle that has chain tires is going to make a world of difference getting up those hills. Also getting a gearbox to get all three low gears will help with both ascending and descending hills.

I have planed to drive a twofer load of both planks and even steel for a pair of landslides. And both I want to fix because the original path I was forced to take is well, with my one modded in Alaska, but tbh I love using the halo hellcat (also known as warthog) and even that thing will get stuck as I only got road vehicles.

Time to learn the art of trailer winching... You can select a winch point on your trailer towards the middle or especially the back and selecting a forward winch point (as far forward as possible) pull the trailer forward using that... It's like getting a push instead of a pull and it'll help a ton!

XD I had to step away for dinner in the middle of watching this but I came back after playing the first mission of MudRunner for about 4 and a half hours. When Drae was going "Oh god, oh god, oh god give me a tree that is heavy I couldn't help but laugh because I basically had that but worse in MudRunner. I got stuck hauling logs through mud and every tree I could connect the Winch to was too weak and snapped before I'd get free. I ended up having to grab a big truck I found and a fule trailer to go tow my truck loaded with logs to the lumber yard.

I did this in real life... I drove across USA for 13 years ... and I have hauled just about everything from new prototypes that had to be tarped or covered so no one else could see the design.... moved it from warehouse to warehouse.... to huge over sized loads that was over one hundred feet long... and loved every min of it...

In case you didnt know the first kolob you used is basicly UNSTOPABLE when you throw it on low gear and lock the diffs. Then it becomes a challenge to get it stuck. Allso saw you dont have the good gearbox, worth looking for just so you know.

Amur is supposed to be the hardest area, even more so than Imandra. The Kolobs are currently the best vanilla high saddle heavy trucks but they lack chains. Chains are the only tire that give grip on ice. All roads in russia have ice no matter what. Best bet would be to bring along something in the Azov family with chain tires and fuel tank addon. Also upgradung the winch specifically the extended or advanced variant. The extra length can save you time and time again. With that strat you can use the chained tire truck to help drag the kolob and refuel it as needed. But I'm gonna guess you will need the Kolob with the best mud tires on it to get through certain spots.

I love snow runner, My only complaint is the way the driveline is implemented. Its fine for a controller but man is it painful on a wheel. I hope in the future they bring the drive line physics up to par for wheels. Being able to rev up the engine and dump the clutch in 2nd gear from a stand still would be a game changer. But the instant stall and clunkyness of the physics with a steering wheel is kinda painful. Love the game none the less lol Great video

Hey Drae... i noticed while you where going up the hill that you only utelice the auto winching... if you are stuck and can't reach the next winch point you can use the manuel winching mode and use winch point further back of the truck and the trailer to inch forward. That way you can most of the time reach a new winch point.

You should try to pull ureself forward by using a hinch point on ur trailer if u passed up a pole u can still like climb by it by using a winch point that isn't on ur truck but on the trailer. Just have to manually attach it tho. Good luck
