Silage is fermented grass and is one of the components of TMR, together with hay and straw. The liquid shit you get from cows is Slurry. And straw is still not hay :D Your content is hillarious and always gives me a good laugh

You can reset items and vehicles.... To unstuck items in Farming Simulator, you can usually access the in-game map, select the stuck vehicle or object, and then use the "reset" option which will teleport it back to your shop, effectively removing it from the stuck position.

Hey Drae, Not to try to make things more complicated for you but getting into biogas when you have animals is extremely lucrative. The best play for your setup is the $850,000 plant. If you get a loan for the full value at 4% interest, the slurry (i believe you were calling this silage) the cows produce is enough money for you to cover the interest by itself but where you can really make money is by making silage which I know you want to get into anyway. Best way to mass produce silage is to cut, windrow and collect grass -not hay- and put it in a bunker which you can construct near your animals and your biogas plant. When you are satisfied with the amount, you compact the grass -not hay- that is in the silo and cover it after reaching 100% compaction. After a few months you will have all that grass turned silage which you can put in your mixer along with hay for TMR and you can put silage into your biogas plant to produce energy (lots of money) and digestate which can be used as a fertilizer. Don't put manure or slurry straight onto your field as fertilizer. It is much more lucrative to get paid for it via the biogas plant and then getting the fertilizer anyway via the digestate (a bi-product of the biogas plant). I know this is a lot but its not too complicated. grass>bunker>silage>biogas/buffalo>profit Another side note. To make TMR you only need silage and hay and you'll be at 100% productivity. Straw isn't needed for animals.

Quick little info list from a IRL farmer Cows eat Silage, Hay, and TMR. Straw makes manure Silage is made by putting grass into a Silage bunker The header u have comes with transit wheels Close the trailer lol Replace the skidsteer with a telehandler to make putting bales into the mixer easier

You can just set the hay bale by the icon in the barn and it will get added to the cows food you don't need the tmr mixer for just hay that is used for making tmr rations.

Drae that header does have a built in transit mode, just fold it then you can hook it up to the back of the harvester to move it much easier

also you can paint over any mistakes with the terraform tools when extending a field, so in theory you could make a field very large and rough then shrink it using the paint tools to give it straight edges

Drae you can hook the header trailer up to your harvester!!, also with grass you can mow all the grass around your field you don’t need to plant a dedicated field of grass until you have more water buffalo! Please like this so you sees this!

If you want to adjust the edges of the field you created, you can paint and ground texture in the build menu to remove the field state and get the straight edges you want.

Hi Drae, for your Macdon harvester header, press G (switch tool) to go to the header and then press X (unfold) , that header has its own wheels and is its own trailer, that will fix your problems :)

If you put straw for cows you produce manure. If don't, they will produce slurry. Sillage you get wraping grass bales and waiting them ferment. About the fork, if you go on the map you can RESET any of your equipment. They get unstook and go to shop area. Hope i helped lol. Anyway the amazing thing about games is having fun. If you go in the shop and go to the header you own hover over it, im not sure the key for it, but it'll give you the option to show what the item fits with works with the implements to. So you can go to the header you own, and it'll show you what trailer it goes with.

Drae, when you finish expanding your fields you can just go in to the terrain editor and smoothen out the edges. It cost a little money but that way you save time trying to get them perfect. Also, i find it easier when loading the truck with pallets when i finish the first layer to then secure the load and start the next layer on top so that way the pallets don't fall out when doing the second layer. then just unsecure and secure and everything stays. Loving the content as always :)

Make sure you keep your haversting and planting equipment in good shape, if it has too much damage your machine won’t be as efficient and you will lose yield ultimately loosing you money in the long run.

I would download the super strength mod from the in game mod hub. Definitely helps me out in those random situations of being stuck or objects deciding to become one with each other.

Press 9 to open your map. You can use the heading direction to draw a straight line. Straw (yellow) is bedding and produces manure with a manure silo extension. Grass (green) can be fed fresh or wrapped to ferment into silage (pronounced sile-ledge) and will be a good feed for your cattle. Enjoy!

With the different kind of things you are putting onto your fields and farm, it kind of reminds me of the Diddly Squat farm by Jeremy Clarkson. He also tried breeding animals, then various kinds of plants, then he started growing mushrooms, and so forth. And he also got his tractor and other vehicles stuck at various places, hehe.

Tip for ya Drae, Straw can get gained from wheat, barley, oats. Hay is produced from tedding (drying cut grass). Both can be used as animal feed or mixed together with silage to make Total Mixed Rations that increase the outputs to 100%. The output pipe at the cow farm is for Slurry. A liquid fertilizer produced by cows to increase yields in fields. Last Tip, its pronounced si-lage (silage). Also, you can take out a total of $500,000 in loans. Other than that, another great video and killin it on the farm brother. Keep stacking that paper and proving the "haters" wrong.

if you go into 'contruction' and then go to the painting tool you can 'smooth out' the edges on your fields. so you can make it as sloppy as you want and then use the paint tool to tidy it.

Dude seriously you need a check list for yourself. Before you drive away ask yourself are things up, are things closed, or things in or off, is the area clear and most importantly is this a smart thing to do. Okay so with your trailer with the moving floor. Please stop and think logically. If you, on the ground stack two mushroom pallets. Then pick them up and put them on the far left. Then stack another two and put them in the far right then have the floor move you can get 4 pallets at a time. Just remember the pallets are 2x4 so do it correctly. Which is wider? 2 sets of 2 or 2 sets of 4? Clearly put them in length wise.

My brother in farming, you can reset vehicles and equipment, including skid-steer forks, back to the shop using the map UI. You can get your vehicle close to the repair area by resetting them. You can buy a new trailer and reset the vehicle it's going to use to the shop to go get it. Also the harvester has a trailer-hitch.

I would recommend ditching the mushroom greenhouses for regular greenhouses, and producing lettuce. It's far more lucrative than Mushrooms, and it takes up the same amount of space.

Just a suggestion Drae, have your mushroom greenhouse only make oyster mushroom, it sells for double the price of the other. Some factories and greenhouses are divided productions which means the more productions you have active they are then divided by the cycles (how many times it makes the recipe per month). Basically is both enoki and oyster are active they will process their recepe at half the rate. oyster mushroooms and lettuce are the best selling greenhouse products. Manure you can sell to the animal dealer, it isnt worth much but if youu let it gather it can sell for alot especially when it comes to you for free basically (straw free from crops, manure free from animals) Silage is fermented grass which you need to make TMR, Slurry is the liquid fertilzer your animals give you (in the video you got silage mixed with slurry) You get slurry no matter what with cows and pigs, manure production does not slow down slurry production. love watching your madness, watching you play got me to buy and play the game and i am loving it. thanks for the awesome videos.

You should be able to drop the hay bales in the driving aisle of the barn in front of the fence where you dropped the one bale. And if you grow wheat or oats you can enable the swath to get straw. Which then you can bale to get hay

Cows don’t produce silage. They eat silage, you wrap grass bales to ferment into silage. You also feed hay to buffalo and straw in a TMR mixer. Straw can give manure which can you use. I believe it’s been fixed now.

You can unfold the header. It has wheels. It will unfold. Press G and it will swap between the harvester and the header. Unfolding the header will have the wheels come down and a hitch will pop out and you can back your harvester up to it and trailer it around.

Fellow Canadian from, (unironically) a major soy bean growing community in Southern Ontario, according to Merriam-Webster, the word "silage" is pronounced "ˈsī-lij" (sigh-lij). The header wagon you bought you don't need, your header will trailer behind the combine or a truck.(if they work the same as real ones). A company I worked for used those same trailers, I was taught they are called walking floor trailers, the ones the company used were for transferring solid waste to a landfill. The trailers work in both directions and are run hydraulically from the tractor unit usually.

you can touch up your feild plowing with the landscaping grass brushes. plowing mistakes are not permanent. hope this helps. keep up the great content :)

If you really want your fields to have a flat edge, you can use the landscaping painter tool and the mod that lets you hold shift to make a straight line. You could do it without the mod, but its tedious and if you mess up a part you have to get back in the tractor and re plow that little spot And to not have those steep edges, you can soften the terrain before you plow

Drae, you can reset your equipment from the map if its stuck and itll send it to the shop. That way you dont have to try and fish it out like the pallet fork

In the last FS you could edit the border of the field in the landscape editor form the shop, i mean, paint some grass on the edge so you can get that perfect field shape.

@DRAE Keep in mind that productions (making stuff from what you produce) is worth the most money, of course it takes some money to start with. About grass, the roller you saw in the grass equipment replaces the need of fert, so you would be rolling your grass field after you have cut and picked up your grass instead of ferting it. Buffalo's/cows do not produce silage, the pipe at the buffalo barn is to get slurry from (which you can use to fert your fields with it just like the manure does) Silage you get from fermented grass, corn or any other crop you chopped with a forage harvester About that bale you lost in the barn, you might be able to open a door in the barn where you can get trough with the skidsteer to reach it, im not sure this barn is able to. After you plowed a field you dont need to cultivate it afterwards, you can use a seeder or planter directly after.

I'm on the euro map and with the silage, I am in the lower parts of that map. Started with plot 92, then 88. Later on I got 2 more which were 91 and lastly 87. I cut 923,761Ltr of grass per harvest which is 168 5500Ltr bales. I expanded and combined all of the fields.

I am back for the header commentary again... yes it will have a built in trailer if you fold... HOWEVER, you may have to take it to the shop and customise it to add that option. Try using the fold, if you get a trailer great, if not then shop and customise to add a trailor
