Very similar systems to my off grid sailboat I suspect. I think my sailboat knowledge is transferable to an off-grid tiny home now.

Terrific job! How are you waterproofing and weatherproofing the underside of your floors?

pressure treated plywood is secured to the underside, then skirting of 1.5" foam and plywood when on site.

I'd love to live in a spot like this but I have over a decade to go of working in Hamilton area. I live on a fairly big property that backs onto a laneway. Wondering if it would be possible to live in a tiny home here... exciting to think it may become a reality some day!?

Mary-Jo! This is totally possible even today. In fact, the city of Hamilton has recently voted in allowing accessory dwelling units in separate buildings in even more yards than just those with laneways. You just have to change your idea of what is acceptable as a tiny home. Email us, and let's look into your address!
