It's fun to see Americans excited about getting a passenger train.

Geez! Flying a drone while airplanes are taking off at OIA/MCO must be a challenge, but the presentation of the Brightline consist gets A+ from me!

This particular set got to experience something on its trip that it will likely never see in Florida - snow. It was spotted on the Virtual Railfan camera at Laramie, WY in the middle of a snowstorm.

I don't remember how I found your channel, but I am *so glad* that KZbin's algorithms guided me to you. What a fascinating view, seeing a new railroad come together from so many points of view - construction, equipment, facilities, the works. Thank you so much for sharing all of this, and for creating a relationship with Brightline that allows you to be part of events like this. Excellent job as always, I look forward to your new videos!

Exactly, this is going to be a fantastic system for this region, they really need this kind of infrastructure, it should eventually help reduce highway congestion. It's a shame it was not developed along with Disney, it could have really helped them as well.

TERRIFIC VIDEO! Thanks for the share. As a nearby resident, can HARDLY WAIT for my first BRIGHTLINE ride. Finally, high-speed rail, PRIVATELY FUNDED that makes good business sense, I'll ride it, more than a few times, just for the sheer pleasure of it, being a LONG TIME aficionado of passenger train operations. GO- Brightline!!

This was gret to see, I didnt know the OUC tracks connect to the brightline tracks in 2 places. Sunrail could run the the airport now since the tracks connect to CSX I wonder where the OUC tracks connect to the Sundial/CSX line??
@andrewreynolds49492 жыл бұрын
You can look it up on maps, the rail line runs west from the maintenance facility south of the airport until it meets the main line at a wye near Orange Avenue

Sweet. You must be doing an excellent job documenting this project, to be invited to cover the delivery of the train. Now, a question. Is Brightline going to connect with Amtrak,either in Orlando or anywhere along the line?
@RoamingRailfan2 жыл бұрын
More than likely it will not
@guillaumef93132 жыл бұрын
I really like your video. You explain well and in detail it's very interesting. It's great that train are delivered by rail. It seems logical, but I'm from France and it's true that we are doing well with passenger rail especially high-speed rail. But for fret we are really bad: alstom deliver tramways and often passenger trains by truck . It's dumb.

This is some good video footage you have here, I thought that the train sets could be expanded to only 7 cars?.....now it's up to 10?
@RoamingRailfan2 жыл бұрын
Everything has always been planned around 10 car trains, 7 was just a number they threw out in the early days of the project.

I have a question, that is clearly KMCO in the background and you are well within Orlando's Class B airspace, did you have an FAA Part 107 Airspace Authorization for this operation?
@RoamingRailfan2 жыл бұрын
Yes
@jimmysalg2 жыл бұрын
@@RoamingRailfan He also made a disclosure at the end of the video explaining all rules were followed. Very well done.
@ImpendingJoker2 жыл бұрын
@@RoamingRailfan Ok, I see that it was there about 2min after I stopped watching. Was curious because I was denied an Airspace Authorization for a similar operation in the KTPA Class B, and I was nowhere near any approach corridors like you are in this video. They wouldn't even grant me 50ft of altitude to do a building fly over for a client.
@danielgibbons29182 жыл бұрын
I like the The footage. However I am a little concerned that you were able to operate your drone in Orlando’s airspace. I hope you filed a LCAd request and are part 107 Certified
@RoamingRailfan2 жыл бұрын
I had the appropriate air space clearance and I am part 107 certified.
