OMG! This reminds me of riding with my Uncle Dave in his Freightliner FLD120. That classic Freightshaker wrap around dash! The gauge cluster? Just like the one in my Thomas FS-65 school bus I drove. And that fake wood grain dash is superb. I LOVE how the turbo whistle changes as the load on the engine ebbs and flows. Always wanted to be a pro trucker, but health issues have kept me from doing that. My Dad, who is a former self taught IT guy told me years ago that one day, technology would be advanced enough you could "simulate" among many things, driving a big rig. Thank you Jeff, this made my WEEK! You are the G.O.A.T!

These videos are so cool! As a truck driver for almost 20 years now, it's really cool to watch these videos to see how the sim compares to real life. I've gotta say, visually it looks pretty close. Nice backing job too, btw! 48' dropdeck trailers with a 10' spread and a long tractor are a real bitch to back up in tight spaces in reality.

16:42 This game can be scary realisic sometimes.....many years ago I was headed north on Interstate Route 81 in NY. The northern part of this highway famous for flash blizzards due to late effect snow and good thing I was going slow because I saw a semi truck rolling in air just like that heading my way. didn't find out what caused it but thankfully no one was hurt. 6:42 Our VFD in Indiana had a meeting literally a day before, we had no idea or expectancy to it. We had a couple powerlines down on the roadway thank god, I’m shook up but idk how the others are doing. The storm hit at around 1 in the morning and it was B A D I’m thankful that no one in our area was affected too bad, and I’m definitely praying for those who didn’t make it out of the storm unscathed literally everywhere else. Weird thing this happens in December. Right before it hit it went to 60°F. That’s scary to think about. (If this is seen) Thank you for posting today, really helps my mood and mental state. That freightliner classic and FLD are one of the best trucks and the dashboards are one of my favorite ever in a truck hard to believe freightliner made them from 87 till 2010 with only one change they updated the mechanical odometer to a digital one in the models final few years The one I drove had the same gauge layout but also had 4 more gauges above the windshield

I am always amazed how fast trucks are allowed to drive in the USA. Here in Germany, a truck is allowed to drive a maximum of 80 km/h (about 50 mp/h). Great video, keep up the good work! Hope your truck didn't need AdBlue. Apparently there's only 5 weeks supply left here in Australia. At my favourite local servo (Aussie slang for gas station), on Friday, there was only about 2700L of AdBlue left, when 2 utes with a total of 3 x 1000L IBCs (intermediate bulk container) between them rolled up. The servo operator, also my next door neighbour, told them how much was left and left it up to them to sort it out.

I picked up a load of Christmas Trees 2 times in a 53ft dryvan 2nd time had to set my tow hook up because the iced over gruond started to thaw so they had to hook up a tractor to pull me back up to were they were loading was very fun applying a small amount of throttle and sliding down the hill of the field then after getting loaded having to drive 100 miles to a ice maker to have them spray ice all over it

I saw the plowing episode for Farm Sim. I wonder if they could do something like this in Truck Simulator, especially with plowing and salting! The animations were amazing! Yo Jeff, I'm about to get my first setup, a g29 or a t300. Do you know any stand or any way to mount the steering wheel in a more horizontal position to replicate how the wheel is mounted in a truck? I've been looking everywhere but couldn't find anything. I retired from truck driving but your set up inspired me to get one as well.

What's goin on Jeff! I was waiting for a new video to drop from you! I was feeling pretty down today.. December is a bad month for me with my severe depression and it's only going to get worse until after Christmas.. this month is a bad month for me, I lost a few friends and I lost my grandmother who I was really really really really really really close to on Christmas Eve so it's a rough month for me.. your videos are the only ones that seem to help take my mind off things.. I tried other content creators but none of them worked.. only you and your content! Thanks brother! It means alot to me

It usually does but it's not until after Christmas and new years.. yeah I know I'm not alone but I also know not alot of people have tried to end it all 3xs.. the 1st time I tried I was 7. I was almost successful but my mom walked in and cut the belt.. another minute or 2 I wouldn't be here today.. the 2nd time I jumped in front of a car going 60mph on Mother's day and I must of had an angel or something looking out for me that day because I only walked out of it with bruised ribs and a bunch of cuts and stuff and I was out of the hospital the very next day.. I do have random seizures since I did that, that's the only "side effect" I got and the 3rd time was only about a month ago I was FTing with my girlfriend and I cut my wrist something really serious with my fresh razor I changed out at work a few hours prior and then I went to go hang myself while the girlfriend was watching it all and she started freaking out while she was at work screaming and begging me to stop until I started to think of how she would feel for the rest of her life knowing that she watched her boyfriend who she loves to death take his own life in front of her and she couldn't do anything but watch.. that would of messed her up for life and she would of had nightmares and stuff and I couldn't do that to her so I stopped and didn't do any attempts since then.. hopefully I don't down the road but we'll see.. yeah that's how bad my depression is.. like I said.. severe depression not just feeling down.. no I think about ending it all and then I go and try.. others just feel down
